I have always had naturally low testosterone numbers (only about mid 200?s), for the last 10 years. The doctor told me today, after some recent routine bloodwork, the my estrogen was quite high as well. In the 80?s range, when it should be below 50 to be considered within normal range for a male. Even looking back several years at my number confirms this isn?t something that just came about.

Is it numbers like this that are causing me to feel feminine and the reason for being diagnosed as bi-gender from a psychologist?

I had a similar experience when I began HRT four years ago. Low testosterone and very high estrogen. I was even asked by the doctor if I had started taking estrogen on my own before I had come to then, which I was not doing. I said to my endocrinologist that now I know why I feel so female, I thought it was very validating. She said not exactly dear, it is in your BRAIN!

I've neither heard nor read of abnormal male E and T levels making one "feel", this way or that. Then again, high T levels have been associated with aggressive behavior. Again, we are challenged by the dearth of research being done on our tiny population.
