I was at a conference last week and the last night at dinner I put on a little of each, blush, mascara, cream color eye shadow, lip gloss and some Natural glow from Jergens. The only one that notice was one of the wemen working she caught me alone and said nice makeup. I talk to her for a time and she said she never would have made me if her SO was not a crossdress. She look for CD's all the time.
Question for the GG when you are out can you spot a CD'er in drab (pantie peak, bra straps, make up), or do you even try.

Sometimes I look and sometimes I don't, but I've never actually seen anyone yet...even though I know you all are out there!
I do sometimes look around a room or area at all the men and think, "hmm...I wonder how many of these guys are CDers"

Since this is all still so new to me I think I am super sensitive to the CD-ing. I have caught myself looking around at the locale department store for example and wondering if that lady over there is really a GG or a CD. Generally speaking it is never anything obvious that makes me wonder.
Before I knew about my DH crossdressing I didn’t ever stop to wonder and if I did see someone who made me wonder briefly I didn’t worry about it or strain my neck looking either. Now I do sometimes wonder and take a look around to see if I can see anyone. Not sounding very PC here am I? But I assume you wanted an honest answer.
What would give me pause or makes me wonder? Well these things are not something that happens exclusively to an inexperienced CD but here goes:
Lumpy padded looking breasts on a slimmer built guy
Along with that add a too tight bra band that cuts in and shows under the clothing
Make up that is not blended well, so it looks like a china doll or even worse a clown.
Extremely dark blue eye shadow or any vivid makeup coloring.
Very dark undergarments under light colored clothing
A g-sting showing [when some guy bends over wearing low hanging pants for example]
Panty lines
Any time I see nail polish, even clear

Yes, what Mae said!! This was in the beginning, also would notice men en drab who could easily become very beautiful women!! I also, at first, noticed more of the ugliest, unkempt GG's in grocery, pharmacy, etc. Wow, helped Karen and I realize their is a lot to the confidence thing, more about how you carry yourself than facial softness, 'cause there are some scary looking GG's walking our streets!!
After doing my own private survey of local public everyday places, I began to realize that many times, decorating and postering are really all that makes the difference in if you can really detect idenity. Now I just smile at everyone, 'cause I've always been a people friendly Kat!!
Just recently in Iowa City, and this was soooo true, not a lot of differences in what people wear, no make-up on majority of students, who's to care!!
They did their job and wished me a great day!!
I still play the guessing game, my own challenge, but it means nothing as far as how I interact or treat people!! I'm comfortable with all caring, friendly people, sometimes grumpy people, too!! LOL KrazyKat

I don't go out of my way to see if there are any CDers about, but if somethingn catches my eye then I will be discret and have another look, mostly though I go about minding my own buisness like everyone else.
