Another day out and about at a Ren Fest

Yesterday my wife and I went to the Kerville Ren Fest. I dressed in what would have been my dress at the Ren Faire had it come in before Oct 31 last year, A witchy black dress with long flowing sleeves. I forgot my hat, but did have some eye shadow and earrings in.

First stop, Gas station to fill up and get some Monster and doughnuts. A normal stop and interaction at the 7-Elleven and off we went.

This being only our third time out to a Renaissance in Texas and reading that this one was small and just getting started (it's 2nd year) we didn't know what to expect. Well first, it was FUN! Second it was small. Third cheaper to enter with free parking. It was like going to Hershey park after going to Disney World, still a great time and fun, just not as big and smaller productions.

We walked around the festival for a few hours and really enjoyed ourselves in the atmosphere and sunny 70 degree weather.

It's an easy way to get out and enjoy dressing in a fancy fantasy world with others doing the same.

So were you presenting as a female or a man in a dress? Did you have a wig, boobs, etc.?

I've always dreamed of being able to dress at the Scarborough Ren fest. I may buy some clothe there this year, now that you got me thinking about it.

No wig, letting hair grow long and styling in a straight stacked Bob with a side part. Yes boobs, Cish, along with long painted nails. But at just over 6 foot and in Texas, I used the men's room without more than a double look, one was differently to make sure they were going into the correct restroom. They noticed me, looked at me, looked around the room for the urinals. But nothing was said.

I've gone to the Maryland Ren Fest several times. The first time, I went alone and rented a "wench" costume. A couple of other times, I went with a CD friend and her wife. It was always a great time. It was one of the first times I saw other crossdressers in the wild.
