Hi again all,

So I am on the road this week. I dressed up tonight and went to a bar called the splash bar in Panama City FL. It was not that special of a night for a while. I did have one young fellow trying to hit on me. Then, he said he was going out for a smoke but never came back so I proceeded to dance with several woman in a group, but again nothing out of the ordinary. So I thought I would take a walk around the bar and when I got close, a young GG flagged me over to talk - and talk we did for a good while. She wanted to see all my pictures and discuss all kinds of things related to my crossdressing. She must have been in her 20?s and was really cute looking in her boots and fishnet hose. Funny that she was wearing some kind of cats ears as well. She just said she wears what she likes and that is that, and she totally gets what we do as crossdressers.

For those of you who have never experienced such a positive interactions, know that it is so overwhelmingly positive for me, I am about to tear up over it. I just wish all of you could get that feeling of total acceptance even if short lived.

That sounds wonderful, Sandi.
Sounds like you had a great time.
I'd love to do something similar, but the thought of getting hit on petrifies me so I just couldn't.

Sandi. I know what you mean. I spent last weekend at the beach and was dressed as a girl all weekend. Shopped and dined all day and hit the bars with two Gg friends on Saturday night. Got hit on a couple of times, got complimented on my outfits by GGs, and had interactions with many, many people . It was a great girly weekend with no issues.

Sandi - It sounds like you have been on a roll recently. Keep up the good work.

You were stomping in the area I used to haunt. The beaches are generally a free loving and not much on caring about others attire. Glad you had a positive experience. The higher class bars usually do have a more open mind and no BS attitude with little to no trouble.

I also go out to bars and dress to impress so I can say I've had several similar experiences.

Hey thanks all.

Oh and I know Gerri is out there big time.

Sallee yes that one is LGBT and had a drag show last night. They were open until 4 am but I needed to head out before then. They had a couple of really pretty looking drag performers. So far I have gone out dressed to 27 bars. I should list my favorites sometime.

Sandi,
Glad to hear about your experience while out and it only gets better the more you go out. I've gone out with a good friend in San Francisco and what we realized early on, is that most GG's are curious and willing to engage in a conversation. I could write a book about all my experiences.
Best of luck.

I probably could have worded it better, but I was simply thinking about those of us who for whatever reason have not gone out and about. Obviously many of you have and totally understand how I am feeling about it. It is so cool to socialize with friendly people while dressed. It is difficult for me to put the feelings into words.

One year at the Keystone Conference, there was a GG waitress who was really excited about the opportunity to serve a bunch of special girls. After all the checks were paid, she opened up to us that she was Bi (bisexual). I (kind of) hit on her. Note that I was in full femme, top to bottom and inside to outside. I told her that I could be her best friend. I could be a boy when she wanted a boy and a girl when she wanted a girl.

Long story short, I told her to meet me at the Gala Ball on Saturday night, never expecting to hear from her again. Anyhow, she called me a day later and asked me if i was serious. We made arrangements and she met me at the Gala Ball after she got off work. It was the first time I ever got a date with a girl as a girl.

I did get very close another time, but we just kissed a few times.

Sounds like a make believe story, but I have witnesses.

Postlude

After the Gala was over, I talked to a couple of CD/TS friends and I introduced them to P. Then, I escorted P. to her Uber to take her home. When I got back to my friends, they all wanted to know who "she" was. They were kind of flabbergasted when I explained to them that she was "My date".

I have. It is great to receive such positive reinforcement.

I've been out and about a lot, but usually with a group of CD/TG friends.

I've had numerous interactions with GGs and they've all been so positive and uplifting.

Sandi sounds like she's on a whole other level from me, but there's almost nothing like going out and meeting accepting GGs in the wild.

It is an amazing feeling. I came out as transgender in October of 2019 and visited the local LBGTQ center and really felt accepted. Now I have a few really awesome friends who completely accept me for who I am. I still to this day am amazed how good it feels to have this acceptance.
