I suspect hon, the only thing you had to worry about was the cop hitting on you. After all you weren't shoplifting, creating a public disturbance or breaking any other laws.

Sherlyn -- If your pics are any indication, the cop was just having a look-see and I know he liked what he saw. I did. Probably with security cameras going he didn't want to be seen hitting on you.

Yes, with security cameras going, he probably wasn't the only one looking! And as others have said, I wish I had your courage.

I know you were nervouse during that. I've been in similar situations, but don't you just LOVE the feeling and the rush you get from it?

I once walked halfway through an entire mall by myself...in mid day! I got a few looks, nothing that would make me think anybody "knew".

Way to go girl!

Check out my post under "good time at the mall". You should relax. you look really hot, nothing to worry about. The truth is that you look better than most of the females at any mall I've visited. You could pick bertter times if you are worried about running into security. You should try it out with a partner if you want more confidence.

If I was one of the cops I would have been looking as well. at a very hot woman. Both of them must have been married since they did not hit on you.

I'm glad to hear that you were nervous. Keeps us safe from being too complacient when out & about. You have NOTHING to worry about from the mall cops, other than an admiring eye. You may also worry about a run in your panty hose or you lipstick being smudged, but that is the fun stuff to worry about! Keep on getting out there. You look very natural.

What a great story!

It is especially interesting to read that someone who is as gorgeous and passable as you are, still gets a little panicky at times. It does speak to something we all have in common regardless of our levels of crossdressing.

Thanks for sharing the story.

Woah! Hey, passable or not (and you are), I think any of us would have our hearts pounding in our throats at that one! And now, you think back on it, I'll bet, and you'll think it figures that they wouldn't hassle you, except to maybe hit on you. After all, you're not hurting anyone, and you're minding your own business. And it's not illegal to look good! Cool story, thanks for sharing.

You look fantastik so why no work on the voice? Since you plan to continue going "out" that's something to think about. Eventually you end up in situations where you must talk. Don't let a deep voice spoil the effect. There are several very good DVD's on voice. I have hours each day in the car (4-6 hours a day!) to work on it and am making some progress. I would recomend the one by Andrea James as being quite good and it starts right from ground zero.

Congrats on going out alone! I have always gone out with my wife and have made a goal for this year to go out at least once by myself.

Isn't it funny that our first reaction to cops is panic? We carry around such guilt!

The reality is that the police are probably obligated to exercise more restraint than the average citizen.

Actually it is illegal to look that good. Sherlyn, I'm making a citizens arrest. Step out of the car, ma'am...

I had a simlar experience in NYC a few years ago.

I was at Penn Station walking to wait for my train (of course I was dressed). Standing near a newpaper booth were four NYC Transit cops in a group. They all turned and spotted me. I kept my cool and move a few feet. Their eyes followed me as I moved. I made sure that I did nothing to attract attention and put on my best female attitude.

Glancing at the board where with a listing of train schedules, I saw that I had at least 45 minutes to go (OMG). So I decided to go for a walk to do some window shopping.

The transit cops followed me through out Penn and stayed about 100 feet away. None of them ever approached me, but it made me very nervous. One of the cops btw, was a woman.

I decided it was best to head up to the street. I headed to the escalator with cops in tow.

Making it to the street level, I walked past two regular NYC PD cops and two armed soldiers and they never gave me a second look. Glancing over my shoulder, no transit cops were there.

I grabbed a coffee to calm down, and went back later on and grabbed the next train. This time the transit cops were no where in sight. But the train ride :(...another story for a another day.

Sherlyn,

I remember the first time up an escalator with 2 mall cops behind me, your mind can think of a million things you did wrong, and 999,999 of them are dressing. WAY TO GO !!! You did exactly what you should, find a prop and seem not to notice them.

My opinion is the one was trying to check out the hot babe without letting his very conservative partner know he was a letch. GIGGLE GIGGLE ! Now learn how to watch in the window reflections the dirty old men at the gas station checking you out while you pump gas next to them. I'm sure they are whether you have noticed or not.

Many years ago (in another life) after a few too many glasses of wine, I foolishly decided I was looking too pretty to stay in my apartment. So I slipped a jacket over my too-short miniskirt and clackety-clacked out the fronts doors in my too-tall (but gorgeously sexy, really) high heels.

The problem was it was 3 am.

Feeling so femmy and cute, I sashayed around the block into the residential area of nicely manucured lawns and smart bungalows. Next thing I know, there's a van very slowly pulling up right next to me and the passenger door is opening!

That's when the cop inside said, "Where are you going?"

Well, I nearly wet my panties with fear but managed to softly say, "Home" and kept walking. The police van followed me all the way back to my apartment building and I never lost my hip-wiggling walk. As I turned off the sidewalk to walk down the driveway, the policeman shone his flashlight on the ground just ahead of my high heels so I could see my way in the dark.

Wasn't he nice? And wasn't I dumb?

I think they saw a beautiful girl walking to her car in the dark making sure she wouldn't get hurt along the way, or then again they were undressing you wit there eye's.

Hi Sherlyn,

I agree with the other girls--you look passable. Not just your makeup and hair, but the clothes look exactly like things I've seen GGs wearing at the mall. Great job!!!

BTW, did you know it's illegal to take pictures of the show windows (not to mention the interiors) of some stores? Really! Stores like Victoria's Secret and Lane Bryant are sooooo jealous that another store might rip off their layout, their merchandise sources, whatever, that they have their window layouts and store layouts copyrighted. And they do enforce that, to the point of having mall police confiscate film and erase digital pix! The nondescript loan office or whatever that you used as a background didn't care, so that was a cool choice.

Anyway, great pix, girl!

I'm kind of thinking they might have a difficult time getting my film under the circumstances described by Sherlyn. I don't recall ever seeing a "no cameras allowed" sign in a mall, and I'm not at all sure such a photo constitutes copyright infringement.

I have to tell you Sis I know what your talking about. I did go to a Lane Bryant in our Mall dressed. To try on some Skirts and a few tops. It was wonderful. The Girls there did treat me well and it was loads of fun. Walking through the mall was a little exciting also. I did not encounter the Mall Security though. Maybe I was ok, HUH? Did not look natorious. LOLOL:)
Ok, that said it is a nice outing and the shops know they are there to make money from anyone. So they are ok with everyone. I did try on some Heels. The Guy that did help me you could for sure tell he was Gay. But was quite nice to me. :)

I'm not sure that it's possible to copyright the layout of a store or a window. A photo would not violate a copyright infringement unless you made a photo of another photo that was copyrighted. However, malls are usually private property, you are subject to the rules the owners set forth. If one of those rules is no photos allowed than that is thier right.
