Was in Vegas with my wife a few weeks ago. It was for a work thing, but not that many people knew us there. Anyway, my wife was encouraging me to dress and at least go gamble at a smaller casino off the the strip. So she booked a room at said casino so I could change and go out. Had a ton of fun, zero comments other than a stare or two. Until I get a text from a mutual friend that just happened to be at the same casino.
Amy (she’s bi)- wow I just saw the female doppelganger of you, even the same leg tattoo.
Me-o ya?
Amy- ya she’s kinda hot, I wish her and her wife would come have a drink at main bar.
Me- I’ll see if I can find her, give me 5 mins?
We proceed to walk over and meet her. Nervous as hell. She had 3 cosmos ready to go. And we talked like nothing was different. Best outcome ever.

Looks like your tatoo gave you away. Fortunately, the outcome probably could not have been better.
Funny story. Glad it worked out for the best.

I cannot imagine the first friend of mine (other than a step nephew that knows) that would have that reaction and immediate acceptance. But, I do hang around rather conservative people for the most part.
Great outcome.

Happy you had fun.
Goes to show you never know who you may run into. I was at Seattle Mariner baseball game at Safeco Field with my son-in-law when he spotted his next-door neighbor from Chicago sitting one row down and five seats over. Also, my brother and one of our cousins ran into each other in the headdress of the Statue of Liberty. Brother from New York, cousin from New Jersey; both on class field trips. You never know!

U know, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, Mandy!?:heehee:
Good thing, considering all the crap Sherry's done there over the years!

Nothing to do with being a CD, rather I Know Too Many People Too!
We used to live in Perth Western Australia and we were holidaying in New York and decided to visit the Museum of Natural History. There was a long line, which was moving quite slowly, to enter the building. I turned around to say g'day to the person behind me, and lo and behold, it was a neighbour from the next street to where we lived.

I have a niece and nephew sit 2 tables away from each other in a restaurant in Rome a few years ago.
Neither knew the other was overseas. Now that is a fluke.
