My wife accepts my CDing within limits and has been supportive, even buying me a few items. We are at a remote mountain lodge and I wore a blouse she bought for me in the public areas. It?s feminine with scalloped hem, smocking and floral design. But I wore it men?s jeans and boots. The blouse was th only feminine thing about me. No wig or makeup, no breast enhancement. I didn?t change my voice or gait. Just a man in a woman?s garment. Because that is what I am.
She was completely cool with it (I asked first). Definitely got a couple glances if not staring at the bar and restaurant, but nothing intending to be rude. I understand how my appearance could be confusing to unenlightened folks. But it felt great wearing what I wanted, and even better to have my wife good with the whole thing.
