Hi As I have mentioned I am now pretty much dressed 24/7 but having broken my foot 6 weeks ago and a 2 week stay in hospital reducing me back to my male mode I am longing to get back to being Amy something I would never have imagined a few years ago, my wife is of course very loving and understanding looking after me and taking care of the house but has admitted she wants Amy to reappear as soon as I'm fit. This incident seems to have cemented just how important our choices are in our lifestyle. Has anybody else had something happen for them to realize just how important dressing has become.

Are you at home now? If so why not dress? (I can imagine shoe choices are limited - but skirts and dresses should work fine even with a cast). I have not had a lengthy hospital stay - but my daughter and granddaughter moved in with us two years ago very glad my daughter agreed it was ok for the little one to see me dressed and she with it (I used to feel I had to avoid dressing when they came for weekend visits)

Hi Amy, A bereavement reignited my desire to dress after a hiatus of many years. They only problem was I was rumbled by my unsupportive wife and had an enforced purge at the time. I do value the stress relief and relaxation of dressing and how important it is to me. You are fortunate to have your wife?s support. Take it easy and hope your foot recovers soon.

I am hoping you're able to be partially en femme; nightgowns and dresses. A dress should be easier to put on rather than pulling pants over an injured foot. When my wife had foot surgery she still worked as a teacher; using a four wheeled roll-about. She wore dresses and an athletic shoes on her good foot to propel it. Looking pretty will really help your mindset.

As to Amy, you have my condolences. Enforced purging? How terrible. My wife is also not supportive; but she does not say "boo" about what I do. It's not the greatest, but she does not berate me or comment at all and definitely does not "seek and destroy" my fem stuff.

Yes. Knee replacement a couple years ago nixed my wearing hose. One day, I experienced some discomfort and my supportive wife suggested wearing thigh highs. I smiled but declined until she said she?d help put them on. What a great feeling and yes, my knee felt much better.

Its good to hear that your wife is as anxious for Amy?s return as you are.

Something happen to them? Like COVID and my wife never leaving the house? Then yes? I know exactly what you mean except for the wife looking forward to me having more girl time.

Women break their feet as well as men so why not dress as a woman with a broken foot? I'm sure that's what I would do in your situation.
