I have been in a fog since Thursday. Today I wanted to dress. I told (asked) my wife if it was ok for me to dress today. I did get the affirmative signals.
Off she went early for a bicycle ride. I slowly made a transition not knowing how far I should get dressed. We all know how one thing leads to another. In about 1 hour I am all dolled up. Full make and jewelry.
That is when I get a call from her. I got flat tire. I know what that means. I take our mini van and go pick her up. It is 10 am Sunday. She askes if I am dressed up. Yup! Well wear a hat it is hot out.
I have to walk out my front door and cross my driveway and get in the van and drive about 10 miles to go get her. She smiled and said, whose hat is that? Yours I said, I do not own one like this. It is a wide brimmed pink hat that has been faded you time in the blazing sun we get here in the Central Valley. This time of year people do not stay outside in the front yards. Too darn hot. And I do not care who sees me anyway. As far as she can tell this is the first time I ever left the house dressed. But we all know better than that don't we.
I have been dressed all day and been changing outfits about every 2 hours. What is this a fashion show? No, I like to stay fresh.
No comment on my long silver wig. She did tell me that I walk like a man. Well over 60 years with male hormones running though me no wonder I do.
Maybe we will go out for ice cream tonight.
