Hello!
I?m Rebecca, a 26 year old crossdresser from London.
I?ve dressed for a long time, but as of late had to stop as my partner is not too comfortable with my dressing. I?m finding it difficult, and would like to make some cross dressing friends :)
Is there a good place to look? I?m not sure if IRL events for this type of thing happens, or is there any apps where you can meet them?
Thank you x

It's like a dating site, perhaps? Start by reading the various threads on this site. Then send a 'friend' request to a few people who seem compatible with you. If they accept, exchange a few messages. See what happens.
There is one person on this site with whom I exchange regular emails (we live on different continents). I believe we both benefit from this.

Rebecca, I go to meetups for crossdressers or trans on meetup dot com. You should be able to find a group.

Rebecca, I will say it ain't easy but nothing worthwhile is!
I believe there are some CD friendly and oriented shops in your town, maybe visit one or two and ask what they know of the local scene or meets.
As to the stopping it, many have tried and I believe too many have failed, though we won't know as they will stop coming by and sharing but that would be a different thread. We all share your pain but remember that we all share our caring, hope you get to enjoy yourself as much as possible!
After your ten posts you can ask in proper section -Places to Go Places to Meet -
I googled and in your area a huge amounts of groups, clubs and events came up.
If you are new to going out a group might be a good start to meet others and safe.

Look for an LBGTQIA organization and go see what they have. You are dealing with gender issues so it is part of the t any way. Besides people at them are normally very friendly and are open to all types of people. That's where I met most of my friends as well.

You can get lucky like I did. I went in to get my nails done, hit it off with the nail tech Michelle, and five years later we're going strong. Also became friends with a couple of the sales angels at my local Nordstrom.
As others suggested, look for groups. I also belong to one and we have regular meetings.

I am not sure whereabouts you are in London but the Huntingdon Beaumont group have temporarily relocated to Tempsford on the A1. They are a very friendly group and meet usually on the 3rd Saturday in the month.

Joining a group is a great idea. You get to meet several all at once and will probably find at least one that relates closely to how you approach expressing your gender identity. In going out in a group you are very safe whereas going out alone carries some risk in many places.

If you are on FaceBook there are are literally hundreds of groups. They range from the serious and sensible (like here, but the functionality is hugely better and easier to use) to the silly to the near-pornographic. If youd like an intro to one or two of the former sort, PM me and I'll show you around. I have made many seriously good and helpful friends that way. For IRL you may find that there are local LGBT+ groups. In a place like London there will be thousands of them. If they arent on FB they will be on Insta or Reddit or Discord. Get yourself a profile or two and join in, see what happens!
