This is not to ask your age, but I would like to know if any of you ladies out there feel younger when dressed enfem?
I know that I feel about 10 to 15 yrs. younger, today while fully dressed. I have on a skirt, top with lace, bra and panties, full makeup and wig.
Just courious if you have ever felt as I do.

I certainly dress like it. I think my mind is sort of stuck as a 20 something girl, or at least that's what I wish I was, which is maybe why I like to dress as such.

Sara, I definitely feel younger when I dress. Just covering my gray hair with a wig accounts for some of it but dressing to look pretty certainly feels like it peels away a few years.

Absolutely! CDing has a decided "youthening" effect on me. When I dress fully with wig and makeup, and look in the mirror, it knocks off about 20 years, maybe more, at least in my imagination. No worries about the question "Is this outfit age appropriate?" - ever!

Of course I feel younger with makeup and fem clothes. I believe that I look younger also. All women look younger with fem clothes and makeup.
I find it interesting to look at couples and note that the woman generally looks much younger than the guy. I figure that they are closer in age than they look, but estrogen, makeup and fem clothes make the women appear to be much younger.

Hi Sara, I feel like my age, which is fine with me. So far :)

Yes, I definitely feel younger than my 74 years. I also think the wig ( I am losing my hair), the fashions, and the makeup take a number of years off my look.

I have posted about this before, but most people guessing my age are off by about 20 years when I am dressed up and I love it. It took a number of outings before I realized people thought I was younger, and I wanted to know what people really thought. I started a little game to get a really honest opinion. I would go to a table of at least 3 and offer 20 bucks to the person who could guess my age the closest. So far, the closest was 10 years too young but most are WAY off. It was worth it for me to get some honest opinions - guys especially want the money. Funny thing, it is just another fun thing I do to break the ice to start a conversation with a group when clubbing ; )
The short answer is yes I feel a lot younger.

Yes, I feel younger. A lot of my stuff comes out of the Junior's department because it fits so well!
My GG friends said that I could pass for being in my 20s if I dyed my hair.
I think it is because of my great skin tone and thin waistline.

Yes! I'm in my late 60s, but I think I look 40-something when fully dressed and made up, especially with a wig. I have my own long hair, but don't really know how to do any feminine styles with it. As others have said, I also feel younger and more vibrant.

Makeup and abundant hair make all the difference and will easily knock 10 years off of your appearance, especially for those of us past the 40 year mark. When I was in my 20s and early 30s the difference was not apparent. Now it is significant.

I not only look and feel younger but most of my newer friends are younger as well at least their not calling me grandpa or grandma yet. LOL
Hopefully things will catch up someday but until that time I?ll hang with 38 to 55 year oldster?s even though I?m 70 . My mental attitude has a lot to do with it as well. We?re all as old as we look and feel. Age as I?ve always said is nothing but a thing. Taking good care of your skin from a younger time helps tremendously.

You are absolutely correct. I am 77 and it doesn't take a lot to make me feel, as you say, 10 to 15 years younger. In general, my skin has stayed in pretty good shape, although the shipping container bags under my eyes are a give away - damn genetics! At the same age, my mother's were bigger than mine and she put on excellent skin care compounds with a spatula. It also helps when I tell someone my age and they pause and say, "You don't look that old." A real boost when you are 77.

I think I do look younger. But if you knock off 10 or 15 years from old, you still get old! Sigh.

While I have been told that I look younger than my years in drab mode, I think it is more drastic when I femme up -- into the 20-year-younger range. I wonder if it would be a good notion for me to look into a more mature wig and such.

Yes, very much. I use moisturizer every morning and nighttime plus a nice moisturizer base. Even my wife noticed. Win, win.

Younger, I'm not really sure. I don't 'feel' my age anyway. I do, however, feel more alive and more vibrant when I'm dressed, and i guess that could be the same thing.

I try to dress age appropriate, but for me I think that is about 10 years younger. I love how makeup, wig and womens clothes transform me. Although i definitely feel younger, I identify more with the older women closer to my own age.

Of course I feel younger.
It's not that the styles I wear are for someone younger, but with a full head of hair (wig) and some makeup even my wife says that I look much younger. I feel younger. I have more energy and more bounce in my step. All in all I just feel so much more alive and vibrant. I don't think it's the clothing I think it's just that it releases something in me that feels more youthful.

So true! Just this morning, while otherwise in drab at home, I let my long hair down and applied some lipstick, a very pretty fuchsia shade, and it immediately lifted my spirits to see what a difference it makes in my appearance.

I try to dress my age (63). My measure of success is whether I look like a normal woman of my age in the mirror.

Make up hides a multitude of sins and for me I do think it knocks off quite a few years.
Probably the wig helps most of all as I have very little hair now.

I'm an 18 year old for the fourth time now, and while I feel that way physically, thank Goddesss, I can't delude myself about the condition of my mug. Having lead a man's life for most of my life, it hasn't received that care and attention that a woman's face might, and consequently it looks older than that of a well preserved woman of the same age.
I recently purchased a new wig and, as I explained to the woman at the wig salon, I chose a grey one, first because I need my hair and my face to look the same age, and second, however unfair and sad it might be, older women don't get as much attention, and as I am hoping to go out more, that is exactly what someone like me needs.

I would say I probably feel a bit younger in my mind, but not my body. I also dress maybe 15 years younger than my actual male age, but as a male, I probably dress younger than many males my age.
So here is another "interesting question": Looking at my avatar photo, how old do I look?

As a kid, I really believed that I would become a real girl, and my body would become 'like the big girls', around the same time all the other girls, did, so, somewhere around 12-14, puberty age. When that didn't happen, I couldn't understand why. I wasn't becoming a woman OR a man, it was like god just forgot about me; puberty didn't come until 17, and with it, didn't come the supposed corresponding increase in genital size, either. So I feel perpetually stuck at around 14, still waiting to become what I was supposed to be. And I dress appropriate for that age. So yes, I'm dressed like a 14 year old girl most of the time, forever waiting for something that's never going to happen.

Well...
For me, when I put the bra and panties, or a one-piece swimsuit, I get the momentary rush of adrenaline when I see the femme reflection in the mirror. It does classify as feeling younger....like new beginnings.

Yes I do feel younger.
I have asked various people over the years to guess my age.
Only one person has ever got close she was a year out. Most are 5 to ten years out on the lower end. :)

I do feel younger when dressed and have been told I look ten yrs younger than my age (early 60s) by a few people I have met while dressed. I also have added a daily moisturizing routine paying extra attention to my face and legs and hope this pays off as I age.

Absolutely dress much younger than I am. I think it's the phase of "finding my style" that I (we) never went through. Besides, I like the sexyness of being ultra-fem.

As a suffer of male pattern baldness just wearing a wig makes me feel and look younger. In guy mode my daily attire as a retiree tends to be solid color jeans and shorts. I only wear dresses with a lot of designs and colors which makes me feel younger.
I?m with azncd on this one. While I?m physically 70, my fem side has not quite made it past the 20s yet. This works ok for a stay at home closet type with an overachieving imagination. If at some point I decide to go out I suppose I will have to grow up. Oh noooooo. .?vale.

I don’t know about looking younger when I dress, but I do feel younger than my age of 64. I like to think that crossdressing somehow keeps me younger. I don’t go crazy and wear skater skirts and crop tops, I dress more appropriately for someone in the 30s to 50s age range. I prefer knee or just above the knee length dresses and skirts, no “mom” jeans but I do splurge on ultra feminine and sexy lingerie—maybe that is what keeps me young.

I am reading this late and the common reply is mine too. I feel and look years younger. I thing at least 10 years but feel 20 years younger, I am 63. I also dress in whatever I feel like. I wear an XL size dress and medium size skirt, I prefer them over pants. Somehow I think those choices look younger.
