Well for the next three weeks or so.

Off on hols with the SO in our touring caravan on what presently is a 4 location tour over 23 nights. Could be longer if we still have the stamina and fancy another stop or two.

So the femme things will be staying at home. In truth I don't think I'll miss it as we keep busy doing other things and it is of course a totally different daily routine which helps.

Of course I'll be dropping by here to keep in touch. Not going to go totally cold turkey.

Thing is, I will have that moment upon our return of going femme again. That'll feel like being home for sure.

Just came back from the Cotswolds holiday with wife. Same situation as you Helen.Very enjoyable and busy. Even if wife was accepting, there just would not be any time to dress.Have a great holiday. You will enjoy your dressing upon your return twice as much.

Helen, with that title you scared me that something horrible had happened. Pleased to hear that is not so. Have a great trip.

(For those who are in the US who are puzzled by the term "touring caravan" it is what we call a "travel trailer.")

Helen, I don't remember id your SO is accepting, but when my wife and I go on trips I always bring a pair high heels and some lingerie for those evenings alone in the room. My wife will brings something too and we will have our own private party!

What an incredibly misleading thread title. Nice job.

Enjoy the trip.

My wife and I spent 7 weeks in our travel trailer (touring caravan) last spring and totally agree. When we were travelling I rarely had time to think about slipping into something a little more femme ... even if she were accepting of the idea!!

Hi Helen
A couple of times I went away in our motorhome without the SO, so dressing was an opportunity not to be missed - in the evenings, overnight and early morning.
Loved it.

Helen,

Enjoy your vacation. And just think how good it's gonna feel when you slip on your lingerie for the first time after 3 weeks in drab!!

Are you going to do the NC500 :)

No, not this year although we did do a tour of the west coast up as far as Skye before heading over to Loch Ness and ending down by Perth. I think that was six weeks.

If you've never been, Scotland is a beautiful country.

The nice thing about a good activity, like a trip, is that it can be so fulfilling that you don't really miss other things (like dressing up). I have taken several outings this summer lasting from a long weekend to a full week and felt no need to dress during any of them. Hope you have a wonderful time.

i just got back from a vacation and the thought of dressing never came up. when i am busy, thoughts of dressing rarely pop up. it happens more when i am bored which is happening less and less

Enjoy the trip, everything will be there when you get back. I recently returned from an extended trip visiting family and so no dressing at all. I was so busy and enjoying the time with family I did not miss it at all and when I returned it was all still there for me and I just went back to doing what I do. In a few months they are coming to visit me and the same thing will happen. I guess I have just gotten accustomed to it as I travelled frequently in the past and just learned to turn it on and off. Enjoy your time
