Anyone feel like they can help with the lyrics. Itll be much appreciated.

Im trying everything I can to get my muscle memory working in my vocal chords.
Ive been singing Julie Andrew Do a Deer etc and it works but I thought something different for a change.

Feel free to change it...............

Shes a pretty little thing
Who knows how to sing
But you gotta get the voice right girl

Shes got a good look
And knows how to tuck
But you gotta get the voice right girl

She goes out on the town
Behaving like a clown
You gotta get the voice right girl

When your out and full of booze
And you want to ask for shoes
You gotta get the voice right girl

Lets sing
Clothes and shoes can make a girl
She'll dance and sing and do a twirl
But to pass that final vocal test
You gotta get the voice right girl?..

Hi Ellie,

I like it. Cute.

I find singing does help me get my voice higher and muscle memory trained.

I think it is great that you are working on your voice. My sense is that many don't bother anymore and, to me, that is fine as well. I think if you are able to actually look quite female because you are blessed with a smaller and more slender figure, i.e. like you, then elevating the voice about an octave is a noble goal. For a lot of us though it is probably a bit pointless. From what I have heard the big challenge is to cough and sneeze like a woman.

She has a lovely face
And moves with grace
You gotta get the voice right girl.

Her clothes are flowing
Her eyes are glowing
You gotta get the voice right girl.

I like that
Also
You gonna wear that dress
try to impress
but you gotta get that voice right girl

You go out in a car
wearing a bra
but you gotta get the voice right girl.

thanks for replying.....

Its getting there but I didnt know about the cough and sneeze bit. I did hear if you could do the laugh you've got it made.
I can find a pitch that is acceptable and dioesnt sound fake and constantly recreate the voice around that pitch (Resonance I think its called). But trying to maintain it in conversation is difficult as I havent got it in muscle memory yet so I have to concentrate - then I forget what Im talking about. Being a blonde really helps there though.
