A funny thing happened at work

I was at work and a CSM did not show up. The morning CSM said she needed help I spoke up and said I can help. The CSM sid do you have a blonde wig? I said you know I do and a Brunet wig also a red wig who do you want to show up? What followed was some teasing by others I can take it as well as give it. I'm out at work one said well you going to show up in that red dress showing some leg etc. I kicked back in my chair put my hands behind my head taking it all in. I said "laugh all you want you know I look good." They all shut up and went back to work lol

It seems as if some of the story is missing. A co-worker does not show up and she needs a wig. That usually means she lost her hair. Then you said "the late" which to me suggests she has died? As having a wife who under went chemo therapy for breast cancer and lost her hair, is that the case with this woman? You kind of left us hanging.
To finish my story, my wife is now five years cancer free.
