Does anyone remember?

I came across this on facebook. From the Carol Burnett Show, the original version had Betty Grable, Martha Raye, another woman, Lyle Waggoner, and Harvey Korman. A curtain covered all but their legs and the audience got to select the best gams. Korman won. I remember a later version where it was all men when the curtain went up. My young heart skipped a beat when I saw it. Not too much later, when I had absconded with a discarded pair of pantyhose, I held up a sheet and looked in the mirror, trying to duplicate it.

No I do not remember this but Lyle Waggoner and Harvey Korman seem to be enjoying themselves.

My wife loves Carol Burnett and watches re-runs all the time. I asked her if she was familiar with the skit and she said no. She also said Harvey and Lyle had great legs.

I also remember that required cigar being smoked

I don't recall that skit. What I want to know is how men can cross their legs like that. I understand that being an old man I've lost some flexibility. But, even as a young man and teen, I could never cross them like that. I was an athlete in my youth and had muscular legs; but, there has to be more to it than that.

I do remember that skit on Carol Burnett show. I never missed a show after that. There was another one where Carol was getting undressed after a neighbor's party. Has she and Harvey (husband in the skit) talked how fake some of the people where. Has she takes off her high heels. wig and then the dress with build in boobs standing ther in a girdle.I dreamed that night of tring on her entire outfit. :)

Crossing one's legs has more to do with how one is "built ' for the most part.
Obviously, females are built for this. So are some Males.

At 76 years old, I am not as limber as I once was of course.
However i can still cross my legs like any female. In fact, I can even "double cross " them.

I am not really over weight and I do exercises designed to keep limber
