I have read stats where it is claimed that those of us who are TG have a tendancy to marry young and have children shortly after. This is claimed to be a mechanism where we try to overcompensate for being TS/TG or CD; a false thought that it will "cure us".

This question is primarily pointed at lifelong CD's however "late bloomers" are also welcome to answer. Please just differentiate when you started. So here are the questions.

Do you consider yourself TS/TG, CD or TV?
What age did you begin to cross dress?
How old were you when you married?
How long after marriage did your children come along?

Please try to stick to the answers and keep them brief (no pun intended).

And yes, I would like to hear from the F2M's as well.

Thanks to all.
Hugs,
Kimberley.

Let me be the first spanner in the intricate mechanism ...

Cross dresser mtf. Darned near life long too for that matter.

First married at 26 - my son born when I was 35.

Next married at 41 - my daughter born when I was 45

and believe me, 45 is too old to go having kids - she's exhausting.

Hi Kimberley, ok my answers are as follows:

I consider myself TS/TG
I started dressing very early in my youth
I was 19 when I married
I had a son at 20
I am now divorced

I like a lot of TS people thought that by getting married, I would become "normal"....well that certainly was bad information.

I'm a lifelong CDer... started CDing by about 7 or 8... mother was accepting and supportive, so I dressed a lot from about age 13 on up... got married at 26, had kids at 28 and 30... still married, wife is non-tolerant (though she started out being okay with my CDing), kids do not know...

seriously, I've been a step-dad and it's hard work. There is a biological connection with your own kids that you don't have with step-kids and step-parenting is darned hard work at best (this wasn't meant as a hijack, I'm happy to follow this to a new thread) ONYA Sharon

I consider myself CD, possibly TG.
I don't remember when I first started to crossdress. Certainly at the onset of adolescence, possibly before.
I married at age 23 and had my only (biological) child at the age of 24.

But, they are my kids! Whether they have my blood or not, the ties that bind us could not be closer.

I identify as CD usually, sometimes fetishistic, sometimes almost TG

Have early childhood memories of dressing once and occasionally modifying my clothing to appear more feminine (but always on the sly) such as pulling the legs of my loose shorts together to look like a skirt, rolling my white socks down so it made like a donut around your ankle (all the girls wore their socks like that in my primary school). First time I tried actually dressing in womens clothing (lingerie and skirts / slips at first, lots of dresses were hung in my closet cause my mom lacked space but I dont remember trying that at that time) I guess I was around 11 or so. Have been dressing on and off ever since then, usually in times of depression or lonliness. When I'm happy and busy with other stuff, like a new love, or just super packed weekends, I don't even think about it.

Never married but I wanted marriage and kids by 25 (am 28 now) and would have if I had not split with that GF. So the common desire was there.

I am still not 100% sure of the terminology. I think I am TG . My 1st Marriage at 29 ( to a 19 y.o was a disaster.) We had two girls. I was 31 and 33 respectively. I did not want Children. (I was a selfish shit!!) once I had them, I adored them. Children were not a way of proving my gender status. Truth be told. I wish I was the one who gave birth to them. Just another joy (or pain!!) that was denied me by a quirk of nature.

Hugs, Sarah R.:bunny:

Hugs,
Kimberley.

This actually is quite interesting. So far:

TV/CD Avg marriage at 25.5 yrs, First child 41.6 months later, started at 10.7 yrs.

TG Avg marriage at 26 yrs, First child 20 months later, started at 8.3 yrs

TS Avg marriage at 21.4 yrs, Firt child 21.2 months later, started at 7.3 yrs.

These are the statistical averages of the reported data. The standard deviation (variance) is quite large due to the small sample size. More data will only refine these results.

Thanks for your candor girls.

Hugs
Kimberley.
