View Full Version : Pleasant surprise from my wife.

We were sitting around yesterday just watching television and she was on her tablet.
Generally she's watching crafting videos on YouTube or something about decorating or cooking. When she put it down and we began talking I asked what today's topic was. I was pleasantly surprised by her answer. She said she was watching some sewing videos to learn how to take in clothing. I commented how that was a good skill to have. Her reply was "you have some tops that are a bit loose and I thought I could make them fit your figure better. They fit your shoulders but sometimes are too big in the bust and waist".
Well knock me over with a feather!
I love this woman.

Sewing is a terrific skill to have. My mother sewed her own dresses. My wife is forever sewing for our family; making sleeping and lounging pants. There is a downside. If it gets out that you're a sewer, you'll find friends and family coming over with mending to be done. Always happy to read posts of acceptance. Merry Christmas.
