I bought 2 new bras that are sitting in an Amazon locker. By the time I could get there today, the store was closed (early closing for New Year's Eve). I don't know if it will be open tomorrow or not. I WANT those bras as they are the same style (different colors) of the last I purchased which is my favorite bra. Anyway, that all the Christmas presents Heather will get.

I bought 3 bras that fit with out forms, a used woman's wallet for my travels, a second hand dress with the tags still on it, and a large bottle of perfume that I am sharing with my wife.

Now if only I can get the adult kid to go back home from the holiday's visit... What is the saying, "stay like fish" which means more than 3 days, you are over staying your welcome.

Christmas 2022 coincided with a thick bank of pink fog for me, since I haven't been able to dress really since 2020 (with the exception of a few days in 2021). I was shopping the sales a couple of weeks before Christmas and bought more - far more - than I should. At one point I fancied a sequin jumpsuit from Yours myself, so it might have been the same one you bought Rhoda! I managed to resist, but I still bought something like 15 pairs of knickers, 6 pairs of femme socks, 6 pairs of knee-high hosiery, two dresses, six tops, a pair of leopard-skin flats and a pair of ankle boots - all from various retailers, and most of which weren't even in the sales! Heaven knows I have limited opportunity to wear it all. At the time I was buying them I told myself that I'd return the less well-fitting items, but I'm secretly hoping they all fit well because they look so nice.

Of what's arrived so far, everything's fitted except some of the knickers purchased from La Redoute, which have been waaaay smaller than the advertised sizes (I'm talking 4-6 sizes smaller).

Over the holiday I've also taken some opportunities (when I've had the odd 30-minutes alone in the house) to photograph my stuff, since most of it is hidden under the bed or in the attic. I now have pictures of everything so I can plan outfits and/or plan what stuff I should really get rid of. I did sell several pairs of shoes on eBay last month, which led to me feeling I deserved this recent spending spree. Of course, I spent far more than I got for the shoes.

My wife and I have a large empty advent calendar that we fill with mainly makeup for each other and take it in turns to open a drawer on the calendar. Good fun but sadly no opportunity to dress over the Christmas period.
