Interesting. I am told that dreams can sometimes be a way for the brain to wrangle with issues of everyday life, such as the frustration of not being able to dress for an extended length of time. Of course, its not a mirror of reality. More like a conflation of real life and myriad other thoughts tumbling and turning through the subconscious or unconscious mind.

The rare cross dressing dreams I recall usually revolved around being at risk of being caught or coping with being out among people that I had been hiding from. I suppose these dreams reflected my frustrations with hiding and fear of coming out.

Long long time ago, I used to dream a lot about crossdressing. But about 20 years ago, when my dressing came back with a vengeance, and I got into makeup and started going out enfemme, my dreams about dressing pretty much subsided or were greatly reduced. I figured that I no longer needed to dream because I was living the dream!

I get caught buying or wearing women's clothes, usually it is also sexually themed dream. I always get humiliated at the end by people I know and than I wake up all sweaty. I don't know what to think about that. Last time I dreamed about surprise visit by my coworkers and boss at my home, when I was working all dressed up. It was not a pleasant surprise.

I tend to recall very few of my dreams and have never had a dream about crossdressing that I remembered. I've also never had a dream I'm aware of where I was actually a woman. My wife tells me there are nights I talk in my sleep but has never mentioned I've talked about CDing. Most of the time I've talked in my sleep, it's dealt with dealers I sold boats to. I actually just had a CD related dream last night.
Dreamed I had received a pair of self-adhesive solid silicone breast forms that were nice and soft and jiggly.
Of course, in my dream, I initially put them on upside down for some strange reason :doh:
Then I was dealing with them somehow getting set down sticky side down and somehow getting a bunch of lint and stuff stuck to them.

I've had quite a few dreams about crossdressing over the years. As well a dreams where I'm in the middle of transitioning to female.

Most of my crossdressing dreams have been where I'm out and about dressed and no one notices. I remember one from when I was in high school I was playing football and had a bra and panties on under my equipment, once we were done I would get changed and no one on the team noticed I had them on.

I've had dreams too where I'm out shopping with my mother and others from my family who don't know I crossdress and I'm putting female clothing in my shopping cart and none of them say a thing.

Ive had dreams when I'm transitioning no one seems to notice and everyone refers to me as Christina.

I've also had dream here and there where a friend of mine who is a drag queen is helping me set up for a show she's putting on and has me as one of the main acts.

I often dream that I am out and about en femme. A few days ago, I visited a museum that, among other things, had manikins dressed in late 1800's vintage clothes. The dresses were to die for. That night, I dreamed I had one, and put it on. In the dream, I could feel the swish of the heavy satin fabric, and it felt great. When I woke up, naturally I had a strong urge to dress, which I did. I'd love to have a dress like I saw in my dream!

Talking about dreams I had one a few weeks back but the problem with this one was in the dream I was having a conversation with niebours and I would look down at myself and my pantyhose are pulled down to my knees. I remember so vivid in the dream seeing the white gosset and they were black pantyhose and I couldn't understand why nobody were paying attention to my appearance. That was a strange on. The more odd thing about the dream is that I was at an event in what seemed like current time, but I was attending with my father who passed away almost 30 years ago.

When I dream about being dressed, it's usually in an office setting. I'm typing, delivering folders filled with reports to other parts of the building, climbing stairs (in heels!), chatting with co-workers and other folks and everyone is so nice and friendly. My favorite dream was when I was chosen to do a photo shoot for Vogue magazine. I wore a beautiful blue gown and white heels and felt so pretty. I was so sad when that dream ended. But looking back, I'm glad I had it!

I suggest you wear those $150 dresses publicly, maybe even to church. That would clear out your inhibitions of wearing "feminine" clothing. Those dresses are YOUR dresses and not woman's clothing items as they are YOUR dresses.
And guess what? I wear dresses all the time in the hot weather of the Dallas-Fort worth area. For church I add heels and makeup. And I have gotten virtually no pushback. And I have even received complements from women at church.

I tend to sleep restlessly, dropping in and out of dream sleep through the course of the night. A long, long time ago, a therapist had me write down some of my dreams and ever since, I've been able to remember them quite vividly.
Sometimes the thought of the next outfit that I want to spend the day enjoying will occupy my sleepy thoughts all night. Lately it's been wonderful ballet leotard dresses with tights. A lot of times the deep sleep dreams are all too realistic and involve

I was all dressed up in a little pink dress (yes, I dream in color) and was about to get 'caught' by a daughter, decided not to come out to her and retreated back up stairs only to have the wife come home. I daydream too, a lot, as currently this is my only opportunity to see myself dressed en-femme. Unfortunately, changes at work have seriously reduced my business trips away from home.

One regular daydream I have started off as a normal dream while asleep. In the dream, I found myself in a large and luxurious bedroom. The room had a huge walk-in wardrobe with lots of female bodies in it. They were all alive, but in a state of suspended animation. In the dream, I could remove my entire male body, not just the clothing, and wear whatever female body I desired.

It was like a complete change of identity, not just clothes.

I have worn panties most days of my life except the few years I was married. Most of my dreams from my early years into my 50s. Most of my dreams have been and are about me in panties or a nightie with people around and unaware but I am scrambling to hide it. I have tons of panties and sleepwear, so in my recent dreams, they were in bags or all over the floor or bed, and I was trying to pick them up or hide them.
Back in the 80s when I could go to the mall to shop, I would have dreams that I was shopping and touching things. One dream in particular frequently comes to mind. I'm outside of the VS store at the mall and it's closed and the lights are off. I just kept walking back and forth, looking through the glass and wanting to go in.

But, honestly, I suggest finding a social group, or booking a short trip on a pretense.

At times, I've changed in cars and bathrooms at various locations. It's best of course to have a friend who will let you change at their place.

Dreaming as a woman sounds great, I'd like that, to discover more what it might be like. I only have my imagination.

I had to really think about this one. Initially my answer is no. then after some really deep thought, my answer is still no. LOL let me explain.

This question is similar to: Do I wear glasses in my dreams? (I do in every day life) I could deduce that since I don't have trouble seeing in my dreams or at least it's not a focus of my dreams I must be wearing them because I can see. Another possibility is that i don't need them because I'm not me and I can see without them. How does one really know? Maybe I'm dreaming of the me i want to become living a life where I no longer have to wear glasses. This makes it a hard question to answer.

When I analyze further I could start thinking about what activities am I doing and are they gender-specific and which gender am I? I don't really think there are any. It's hard to say. It's also possible i am doing something that is gender-specific but in analyzing it later it doesn't feel any different to me it just feels normal like wearing my glasses.

If I never wore glasses yet I had some incredible fascination with wearing them i might dream about wearing them and what it would be like. In comparison since I'm free to dress how I want all the time I'm not dreaming of something I don't often get to do. It has no special significance because it just feels normal like wearing glasses.

I wear romantic lingerie/satin sleepwear to bed every night so it probably fuels the dreams for me and I'm usually wearing the same lingerie in my dream that I wore to bed that night so I definitely think there's a correlation there somewhere. I've often dreamt I was part a medical research project where I'm taken back to different stages of life growing up but as a girl sometimes its a little girl, then a teenager, then as young woman......I can be brought back to real life at anytime but the only stipulation is if I happen to fall pregnant then I have to live the rest of my life as a woman....which of course has happen in one of those dreams...maybe thats down to my physical shape.....being a more "portly" in statue that is a couple of dresses on a side view I could probably pass for being about 6mths pregnant....even my wife has commented on it....not nastily but more of a comical comment. I'm not sure if there's any sort of meaning to it but its a recurring dream thats happen for several years.

Other times I've dreamt of us getting remarried but this time I'm the one in the white dress and being made up etc and all my friends are there and the only comment are on how good I look.
