Clubbing last night

I finally got to go clubbing last night after a dry spell since March. It was an ok outing but not really all that exciting. I guess in some ways it was a bit of a let down because of my anticipation after such a long dry spell. It was loud and hard to hear without talking loudly. That stressed my voice, so I sound hoarse today. I did chat with one group of 4 women and three other groups of two women. Oddly the best conversation I had was with a young non binary genetic female just outside the bar as I was leaving. That has happened to me more than once since you can hear outside and one complement triggers a conversation.

I did get a little bit of dancing in, but I was not all that crazy about the music and most people seemed to be paired up with their friends.

All in all I would do it again, but I guess I have gotten to the point of diminishing returns. It is pretty hard to top some of my previous club outings. This is probably one of the first times I left before the club closed. I had already had reached my self imposed drink limit and my feet were starting to hurt. I figured I would just chalk this one up as an average outing. Of course I did enjoy seeing some of the clubbing attire the young ladies were wearing ; )

Oh , this club is called XY Bar in Wichita. It was nice because my hotel was only a couple of hundred feet away so it was very convenient.

Glad you got to break your dry spell Sandi, sounds like despite everything, you enjoyed yourself. For sure, not every club outings can be super memorable & exciting.
Always nice to get in some people watching, and see what the other ladies are wearing.

Hi Sandi, You have set the bar high in your previous outings it would be difficult to top them. All in all you got to go out and still enjoyed going. Hopefully another trip soon.

Thanks that is kind of you NancySue.

It is looking as if I may have an occasional chance to go out, but no where near what I did last year. Then when I retire in a few years, I will likely have to hang it up altogether, sadly. It is ok though, I can live without it if I have to. I do have some great memories though.

Wow! I never checked your age but reading about your clubbing and outtings I would never believe retirement would be in your vocabulary. I couldn't even imagine myself in a club the loud music and you seam to handle it like a spring chicken.
I guess it happens many time when we get all hiped up for something it always ends a little flat, for me I love when something happens out of the blue.

Sandi, Perhaps you just need to get back in the groove and not over think it. Anyhow, at least you got out dressed. Emphasize the positive.

Jamie , oh no doubt about it. It was nice to get out there again.

And Maria, I have a little secret that helps me stay up late with the younger crowd. I get a nap in the afternoon or evening before I go out and it helps a lot.

Sandi, hang it up when you retire? Don?t bet on it. The pink fog won?t let you and with your beautiful looks and sense of fun and adventure, I think it?d be a shame. When I retired, I, enjoyably, found myself dressing more. Actually, I dress, to some degree everyday, sometimes just underdressing, sometimes more. I love the freedom of choices. Having a supportive wife is a blessing. Our small town stifles going out, but we do go for rides. I fear an accident, flat tire, or police, but, so far so good.

One girl's so-so club outing can be another girl's memorable experience. From my perspective, it's got to be great just to get out and cut loose!

So happy for you. Clubbing dressed it just the best. I too was out last night at Fetish Friday event. Black leggings, Zebra striped satin blouse, mirror gold high heels.....Oh what a night.
