This Saturday, Sept 23, from 10 until noon, in Town Green Park in The Woodlands, TX, The Woodlands Pride organization will be holding "Popsicles With Pride (https://fb.me/e/74R9Nfj0P)". This is an event which the group hopes will collect inclusive reading materials (new or gently used hard bound books) for the Montgomery County Memorial Library System. So if you are in the greater Houston area, come get a free popsicle, donate a book or two, and maybe chat with Jeri Ann and myself.
I should note that, totally coincidentally, at the library next door to the park, anti-trans activist Kirk Cameron will be reading from his book, "The Island of Free Ice Cream", that supposedly teaches kids about the dangers of "socialism". :raisedeyebrow: I guess sharing isn't caring anymore?
