The littlest things

I can't believe how the stupidest little things can put a huge grin on my face. This morning I took my first zip from my coffee cup and seen the pink lipstick mark and I felt this huge grin and just a great good morning feeling. Anyone else have that littlest thing that just makes you feel so good.

I will agree there is a certain level of peace of mind that comes from seeing lipstick on the rim of my coffee cup. I just have to make sure it is washed off before a visitor comes over for a visit. Although I do not "prance" before a full length mirror I do like the view when I see myself cooking and baking in the kitchen.

Yes, totally understand. I?m looking at my coffee cup now, I smile seeing the lipstick on the rim. Slipping hose daily on my scented lotioned legs, always brings a smile. Ahhhh.

Lipstick on my coffee mug or martini glass is one of those little things for me. IMHO, enjoying life's little pleasures adds a lot to it. Getting a daylight visit from the neighborhood fox lasts maybe 5 minutes on a good day, but at the end of the day, after work and stuff, I remember that I got to see a fox. And some evenings, I remember lipstick on the glass.

I have two favorite porcelain coffee cups with feminine flower prints that i drink my coffee from almost every morning. I get up before my wife every morning, fix myself a cup and put on some tinted lip gloss. It's been a morning ritual for a couple of months now and I'll sometimes fix a cup of coffee, not because I really want more coffee, but because i want to enjoy the satisfaction of seeing the lipstick on the cup.

I guess it's a little thing, but seems like a very grounding indulgence for me.
