Tonight?s the Night

No, I?m not launching Fi on the world (one day maybe, but, as a minimum, I need to get good at makeup first) and no, I'm not coming out to everyone (so not ready for that ? SO knows and is cool with it and that's quite enough for now). No, tonight is the night Fi gets her legs back.

The weather in the UK has turned and it is no longer normal to wear shorts for riding and running. Letting the hair grow through the spring and summer hasn?t bothered ?him? but I have had to put up with it. Well, tonight I get my way: a bath, a long soak, a careful but delicious shave and a moisturise. Then, on with my favourite nightie, curl up on the sofa and a glass of wine and some chocolate before bed. Bliss!

Does anyone else look forward to autumn with the same relish?

I cycle, so I have shaven legs all year round. My legs are my best feature, so it'd be wrong to keep their full glory hidden behind hair.

I used to but since I retired I stay shaved pretty much full time. And I don?t have that much hair anymore after waxing and epilating for a couple decades. But I do like fall and winter clothing better than summer. You can always add a layer to stay warm but you can only take off so much to cool down.

I look forward to the cooler temps of autumn as I will not be wearing shorts which means I will be wearing either thigh highs (with or without garters) or suspender fishnets.under my slacks. It also means I will be wearing a windbreaker or jacket which means I will be wearing lace bralettes and forms a lot more often when out and about.

I shave my legs all year and wear skorts during the hot summer months. I wore a brightly colored Lily Pulitzer skirt to a garden club potluck this year!

Fi, I am with you, I love to shave my legs in the cooler weather, I started several weeks ago. I proudly show them off at the salon when I get a pedicure. My nail tech has noticed and commented in the past. My wife used to be ok with me shaving them but no longer but still tolerates it.
I think most of us girls like the cooler months for a variety of reasons.

I trend to let my leg hair grow in the winter, unless I'm planning on wearing sheer hose. If I'm going to be wearing opaque tights or leggings, there doesn't seem to be much point. In cycling season, spring through fall, I keep my legs shaved. I wear shorts in drab when not on a bike. Nobody has ever mentioned it or questioned it.

Nope, I hate shaving and wear skin tone tites whenever I dress no matter the season. I guess u could call me Princess SummerFallWinterSpring!?:)
