We are so proud to announce that Trans Truth (https://www.transtruth.info/) has been selected to present at First Event 2024 (https://tcne.org/first-event/). The presentation will be on "Ambassadorship as Activisim". Ambassadorship is a term that Jeri Ann came up with, to describe the effect that "just doing life", in an open, positive, friendly way, can have on how others view trans people. We've both talked about it here on crossdressers.com, and we even did an entire episode on it for the podcast. We decided a while back that the concept was so important, that it was time to take that show "on the road", so to speak. BTW, we've submitted proposals to a couple of other conferences, including Keystone.
Alas, "Ambassador Young" can't attend First Event, because she'll be on yet another "diplomatic mission" that weekend; the kick-off party for the 2024 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo volunteers (she's a team captain on the "Carnival Ticket Sales Committee"). So, I'll be doing a solo act for that event, but Jeri Ann and I will be collaborating on the content from start to finish.
Oh, and speaking of Keystone... Even if our proposal is not accepted, Trans Truth will be there, doing our remote podcast thing. We look forward to chatting with many of our cd.com friends, at both events.
