I am booked to go to Eastbourne next month and I will be going out in public dressed. My hostess has said she will accompany me on these outings. I am so looking forward to this. I have already visited a few people fully dressed half of which were CDs but never out among the population.

Thats great Georgina!

I am sure you will have a fun experience.
You say "hostess", are you going to a transformation servise or something like that?

Make sure to bring sensible shoes ;)

Enjoy. Just remember, it will seem that everyone is looking at you but they are really not. Also, wear sunglasses, it helps.

Have fun Guaranteed it will be a thrill and very few if any will notice your true gender

That is great Georgina!
Going with a GG friend will make it a lot easier than the first alone outings many of us have done. Having a "Wing Girl" will make a huge difference and take a lot of the natural stress out of the situation.

have a great time, I was looking to join you, but just google mapped it, its a 5 hour drive +. A bit to far on a short notice, would have done it later in the year in summer time, have a great time, and just maybe you can join us in November when we do our annual trip to Manchester.

Good for you Georgina! I hope you have a wonderful experience.

One thing that I have found is that unless you dress for attention or behave in a way that makes you stand out, people are so into their own lives that they hardly ever notice others. Look at it this way, do you remember anyone (other than a friend or family member) that you encountered the last time you were out in public? There can be exceptions but, in my experience, they are few and far between.
