You have a beautiful perception and skill with a camera.

Maybe you could take one of me and make me more sexual looking than i am really in life. then post it in these forums.

Christine, such classy photos, thanks for posting them. What camera are you using, film speed etc..? Seriously interested in the story behind the moon photo.

Thanks sweet Julie
Am using Nikon D-70. Used a 70-300 lens at about 250 mm with Oly 1.7
teleconverter. I dont know if you use digital or not but when you shoot the moon you get the best color if you set white balance to full sun, the moon after all is just reflected sunlight. When I shoot the moon, one of my favorite subjects a half moon would be about 90th second at about f 11. Im still looking for a reasonable 500 mm quality lens but they are soooo pricey.

Christine, thanks for the info. I see many photos of the moon in an Astronomy magazine I get, all photos come with info etc. It's good to have this info when comparing photos.

Ah yes, washed off ;)

That's the one I use at the office normally. Trouble is, people tend to complain a little since I take half a pot of coffee at once ... :D

Love,
Vicky

Christine - I love your eye. I work in graphics and web design - just tossing a seed, perhaps someday we could help each other! I imagine a lot of us could... maybe there could be another section to the forums about professional/real world stuff.

Sorry, forever seeking opportunity, I guess. My point was to compliment you - when I was a teenager my bedroom was a darkroom... the smell of those chemicals still makes me think of the naughty things I did under the red light ;)

Great work!

(and I love that squirrel pic, too, pink - I missed your name?)

Christine,
Those are nice, clean, crisp pictures. What type of lens and camera do you use?

I really appreciate the kind comments from everyone. The last few months my photography has suffered a bit because of all the energy I have been putting into dressing. I really do enjoy being Christine but I really have to consider that I don't want to let my male self waste away. My male self is a significant part of Christine and Christine is a major part of my male self. Like as has been said many times everyone has male and female inside them. Both Christine and R. both can have a real life. If I neglect either side my self as a totality will suffer. Look at the binging and purging many of us experience.
Anyway for Sweet Susan I use a Nikon D-70. Most of these were shot with the 70-300 zoom. An inexpensive lens. It takes good pics at moderate F stops and away from the zoom extremes. Also have a Nikon 28-105 and a Nikon 18-70 which came with the D-70. Both are adequate and inexpensive for Nikon lenses. The moon pic I added a Olympus 1.7 B-300 teleconverter which is a very nice lens. I also have a tamron sp90 macro lens which I just love. For its price it is a fantastic lens.(the dime) Need to do some more bug hunting. Some of these were taken with a fuji s-1 pro. This was a very good camera but I sold it because it did not have good quality at long exposures.
If you know anyone selling a good quality 500 mm lens let me know.
For Stephanie, throw me an idea or two and maybe we can create something neat. I also have illustrator but am not really good with it. My creativity as far as creating artwork is somewhat stunted.
Hugs, Christine.
Again I really appreciate everyone's kind comments.
