Interesting observations-- Reverse image search on Google.

I have discovered something interesting. Copy and paste some of YOUR pics to the IMAGE SEARCH function of Google (The colorful square box in the search window) the results are often "Disappointing" but can be very interesting. Often it pulls back nothing with a statement "Image Search is not good with people". It often returns pics of clothing, wigs and jewelry. You can get pic results of people who look like YOU in fem mode-- Including some usually obscure or foreign celebrities, too. But what really blows my mind is I get a LOT of Cross Dresser picture results, It can READ me, even in my BEST makeup and clothing. IT KNOWS! either my best is not as good as I think it is, or us CDers must DRESS in a certain way the software is savvy to. I am starting to think the latter, as if I submit a B&W photo I get vintage hits of GG women. Perhaps there is something about our quasi-retro taste in clothing, many of us wear, that que the program to find CD matches. Perhaps it is just ME? It would be interesting what some of us YOUNGER CDers with more contemporary, mainstream clothing, would get for results.

I think I got it.

I tried to do image search of my all black outfit I posted and it showed me some nylons shops and IG/FB pages and also a crossdresser's page, who did similar outfit even though I'm using Incognito mode for CD and I did it in the very same incognito window I've got this forum opened.

But when I tried another browser and also incognito mode for the Google image search, it showed me similar dresses and nylons and GG models but I saw no CD. And I tried it with the white top/blue skirt dress and it showed me eshop I bought the dress from and similar dresses on GG, but no CD again. So the search is based not only on the picture you're using but also on your cookies and browser history.

Also try Tineye (www.tineye.com) Great reverse search. I never thought of using it like that, but I'm going to try it out today.

I agree about tineye.com, I get better results than with Google reverse-image search.

I use that Image Search with some clothing I'm wearing (below my neck) just to check some outfit to mimic. Sometimes I get the pictures with the model from the store/brand that sells that clothing.

There may well be IP issues with searching for pictures of the general public. Not something I have yet tried. Sounds like fun though.
