Torrid Casting Call

I was shopping in a mall earlier today and walked by a Torrid store.

They're having a "casting call (https://www.torrid.com/casting-call/)" for models at 100 stores across the US and Canada.

I was so tempted to see if girls like us could apply.

I just found time to check this out tonight, and it turns out today was the last day. The store nearest to me that hosted casting calls is about 60 miles away, but that's a doable do. I wish I had known sooner. They wanted 3 pics and video. I don't have any recent pics, particularly the head shot, but if I had known earlier I could have gotten some pics and entered. I might still see about applying online.

So bummed out.

Wouldn't that be something, Steffi!
I was once "head hunted" and invited to a DKNY model tryout photo shoot. Flight, hotel and all other expenses paid and the chance of a model job.
It was totally understood that I was a trans woman, that was specifically what they were looking for.
I was very tempted but chickened out :(

I understand the "chickening out" part.

In some way, I'm glad that I missed the casting call. That changes it from a dream into reality missed.
