So on Monday I'm heading to Riding Mountain National Park in Manitoba to camp solo for the week. Just finished packing and trying to only take things I will actually use and wear is very challenging. I'm looking forward to the time to be dressed more than usual.

Sounds like fun!
I hope you have a great time, and look forward to hearing about your trip when you get back.

You're very brave. There have been cases, even one locally, of a pair of Lesbian women being killed in their tent because some guy couldn't handle it, and took things into his own hands.

Be careful out there!

Something I enjoy now and then. The extra padding of girl mode adds to warmth on a chilly winners night looking up at the stars. Enjoy who you are whenever you can. It makes us better happier people.

Are you tent camping or RV? Or something else like hike and bivy (that would be a challenge!)
I have done booth tent and RV, the best trip being several days alone in Iceland car/tent camping entirely in girl mode years ago. Loved it.
I really need to do something like that again soon.

Bivi for me. Nothing but the stars above my humble head, on a cold winter's night, is all I could ever ask for.

Today I walked around Wasagaming, the main town in the park, with my wig, obvious projections, and denim skirt. All went well. Went in stores, walked along the beach, marina, which is empty due to the ban on all types of boats due to threat of Zebra mussels. I'm hoping to head to the lake and go swimming sometime this week.. Despite record temps else where, Manitoba has been fairly cool. Last week we had our first 30?C plus, but we have dropped to the 20?C area.

In the Visitors Centre, they had a few pride items with Parks Canada and RMNP logos on them. So I bought a few.

Oh I agree with that, Jane, and I love roughing it too. But for the girl side I like a little more comfort, especially the "luxury" of a makeup mirror, a wash basin, things like that.
I know, I am such a princess! ;)

I had a week in the Lakes earlier this year. My wife booked me a cabin. What luxury that was and plenty of space for my make up. I had a choice of the on suite or the main bathroom.:heehee:

Well today went on this marsh boardwalk with a denim skirt and my wig. There were quite a few others on the boardwalk and everyone was more interested in catching little fish and other critters in the marsh. Going back tomorrow with my 360? camera and get some images.

Also went to the beach a couple times today. Had bikini bottoms and top with a rashguard shirt over top. I don't miss wearing those baggy board shorts that tend to balloon in water. Of course all of the boys and guys were wearing board shorts. Interesting how in the 50 and 60's the short brief was what all of the guys wore.

In the evening I even went and got ice cream while wearing a long denim skirt. Got a few quick looks, but that was it.

Parks Canada is really LGBTQ+ friendly and are working on making more facilities gender neutral. In the campground there is one restroom and shower facility that is all-gender. Even tonight I ventuted into to women's side to use the facilities. Manitoba Parks is working that way as well with more gender neutral washroom facilities.

On Friday I pack up and head to Spruce Woods for a night. There is an astronomy night on the Friday night that I will be taking part in.

Well today I put on my one piece swimsuit, went down to the beach and found a less populated area. Took off my bottoms and shirt, then went right in. My hair covered some of my breastplate, but once I got out in the water, I was basically by myself. Boy was it nice!!! Had a nice swim. This was the first time I did that, usually I had my rashguard shirt on.

Don't think I will get back to the lake today. But when in Spruce Woods I might.

Back home now after a good week camping. Yesterday went to Spruce Woods Provincial Park for the night. The park is a Royal Astronomical Society of Canada Dark Sky Preserve and have astronomy related programing Friday nights. I've been volunteering there for those night since 2015, but this was the first time I was able to make it out this year, it's either tractor pulls or weather that prevented me from going there. But unfortunately clouds and smoke from forest fires in Alberta made it impossible to see anything. Hopefully next Friday will be better.

Basically used the woman's washroom there the entire time except for a few days in RMNP. Even had a 'Good Morning" by one of the women coming in the restroom while in Spruce Woods. This was actually the first time using the women's restroom when other women are using it. Since I was dressing female, using the men's would of been weirder. The saying that Sean Connery used in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade when they went to Berlin, "My son, we're pilgrims in an unholy land" kept going through my mind when in there. Especially the one time I had women in stalls on both sides of me. But definitely got more comfortable as I used them more often. Overall I had a good experience.

Someone cranked the thermostat on Friday and today, 30C highs, so went to the Kiche Manitou beach yesterday and today.

In August I have a few more weeks books for camping, and both are for Spruce Woods.

While the majority of my clothes are female and wear most of them like shirts, shorts, pants, underwear, but stuff like skirts and wigs are left for these times.

Just got home from another camping trip. Went to Spruce Woods Provincial Park for the week. Spent most of the time enfemme. Work this week, then have another week off after where I will be camping from Friday till Sept. Long Weekend Monday, 11 days. So I will have plenty more time. Part of this time will be the Spruce Woods Star Party, an annual astronomy event. Unfortunately we had a few days of rain during the week. Got to the beach once.
