Careful what you wish for. For years I struggled to lose weight. Well, finally lost 5 pounds. Alas to my dismay fem clothes are not anywhere as forgiving as male. The skirts I loved, now tend to just slip off. Opps. big opps. Skirts are not yet as hard to find as pantyhose, but they have been quite difficult to find. Now with the sizing issue, more of a headache.

How do you deal with the downers?

Learn to sew and take in all the things that start to become loose. No reason to discard items in good condition when they can be altered.

Elasticated skirts are a bit more flexible when ones weight fluctuates.

That's why they invented hip and butt pads!:heehee:

Losing weight is the hard part. Then, u can put on as much foam rubber padding on as u want in just seconds!:battingeyelashes:

Padding. Though of late I have put on a few pounds so more a case of tight corset to try and hide the tummy.

As someone else suggested, hip pads can do wonders. Also, just remember it?s easier to take a skirt in than it is to let it out.

I hear you on this, I lost 10lbs when I stopped drinking and my one and only denim skirt just fell off me. As Debbie Denier said, elasticated waist are the way to go if you don't do padding. I now have 5 skirts, all elasticated and none of them fall down.

Before the pandemic I was at my in shape running weight of 150 and my wife was wearing size 12-14. We could share clothes and it was great! Now I?m 20lbs heavier, she has the six pack and wears a size 8. Great for her, bad for Sophia. Luckily when she purged her old wardrobe I was able to intercept some things on their way to Goodwill. I was also very sad to see some things go that I couldn?t say a word about. I guess that?s the cost of being in the closet. Now I?m desperate to drop the pounds and catch up to her. At least we have the same shoe size!

My wife had lost weight and handed everything to me, well she gained it back and is telling me how fortunate she is she has a Crossdresser husband so she doesn’t have to buy everything back. Not fortunate for me I’m losing my wardrobe and maybe I should lose weight to get her other clothes.
