View Full Version : How did that.....

Get there? In drab and working out the back of the house laying a few bricks. Needed an extension lead for the cement mixer so got one from the garage. A minute or so later having retrieved something else from the garage and heading back to the mixer there on the path was......one of my false nails.
How it got there I can only surmise but my guess is it got dropped when I was spraying them in the garage, got stuck in the folds of the extension lead and then, well you know the rest. Thankfully I spotted it before my SO as while she knows I dress (DADT) I doubt she has any idea of the full extent my CD'ing takes so explaining where it came from could have been awkward.

Good thing you spotted the nail before it became an issue.
I am going to ask the obvious question. Are you considering letting your wife know more about the extent of your dressing? I am not advocating or opposing such a decision, just curious.

Ha, I know the feeling. One time I decided to take the garbage outside to the bins only to find one of my black thigh high stockings laying on the ground that I had thrown away. Apparently it had fallen out and landed right next to the outside bins when they did the weekly pickup. I am glad I went out instead of my wife. It was my repayment for doing one small chore around the house I suppose. She would not have liked finding that.

Helen, I don't need to hide my dressing, but I have found my nails in the garage and I never been dressed there.

I have one rigid conical cup insert for a bullet bra. Where the twin companion is I have no idea.

More than once I've U-turned back home from my short drive to work thinking I left an item of clothing out that could incriminate me. That paranoia used to get to me. I don't seem to care as much these days though it's not exactly the conversation starter I'd like for when I come out to my SO.

SophiaRose, I have that exact occurrence a few times. Sometimes I had left items out, other times I was just making sure. Since I retired I have had a few oopsies but my wife and I have come to a little bit of an understanding. If she finds something she just puts it in an obvious place for me to put away.

The other day I put on my lycra cycling jersey getting ready to go out for a ride. My fiance alerted me the the fact that a pair of my panties was clinging to the back of the jersey! I never would have noticed!:o

When you find a fake nail on the floor or the ground, it's called "crossdresser droppings"!:)

Funny, I had a similar thing happen quite a while ago, I was visiting my uncle, after I had left to go back home
I was talking to him on the phone and he asked if I had lost a sequin off anything I was wearing. I told him no
I really didnt own anything with a sequin. He found one in his driveway, Turns out it came off one of his bra's :heehee:

It gets even more weird. Having found the nail later that evening I put it on my bed. Showered, put on a skirt and top to spend time on the PC. I also wore my new heels as I'm breaking them in a little at a time. When it came time to put the heels away I put in the shoe stretchers which included adding folded paper to target one particular area. Grabbed the paper, put it in place, tightened up the stretchers. Later I came to look for the nail. Not there, not on the floor, nowhere to be found until the next time I wore the heels and the nail, yep you guessed it had been scooped up with the paper and put in a shoe. Not damaged but did have me wondering if it was going to turn up in some other odd place.

False nails are the worst. Once I noticed one was missing on a drive and I couldn’t find it in the car and thought I lost it while putting gas. Instead it must of flipped off and I found it in the back seat. Thank goodness I opened the door for my mother in law and seen the nail and picked it up before she seen it.
