A very close call

I take a Pilates class on the Reformer machine. At my studio, its required to wear "sticky socks" to grip the bar on the Reformer. I was waiting for class when I realized that I forgot to wear my sticky socks. I didn't have time to go home and get them, so I just decided to buy another pair.

I pulled off my regular sock on my left foot to replace it with my stickie sock. As soon as I pulled off my regular sock, I remembered that my toes are currently painted a bright OPI "Sunshine Yellow". I very quickly pulled my left stickie sock on and did a quick exchange of my right socks.

The whole class, except for me, is GGs. Nobody saw anything, or at least nobody said anything. Not that I really care that much. I would have just owned it.

I used to take a yoga class 2 to 3 times a week, barefoot, with painted toes. I also wore women's yoga pants and a tank or racerback top. All of the GGs just accepted this as the normal me. Some of them almost tried to compete with my femme yoga pants. The yoga instructor like my floral Capri yoga pants so much that she said she would steal them from me if she could.

The GMs in class wouldn't even look as me, as if they could catch the femme-look disease.

Steffi, The GM?s in the other class were just jealous if you ask me. They wish they had the nerve like you.
Your yellow nails sound real nice, I doubt the girls would care at all.

You are in a class largely designed for women surrounded by women. And you're wearing mostly feminine attire. no one's worried about your toes but you.

I was in Tahiti a few years ago, and more than several American men I ran into had their toes painted. I am assuming they were so far from home and didn't think they would run into anyone they would know.
