New Sensation

You would never think after 50 plus years of dressing that one would find a new feeling sensation, for me it's twice in a few months. A few weeks ago I posted that for the first time I got dressed without pantyhose and it was an amazing feeling.
Well it happened again yesterday, I got home from work and it was so hot and humid that I had to literally peel my clothes off to shower. My wife told me she left a few summer dresses on my side of the bed that she didn't want anymore. When I got out of the shower I was to tired with the heat of the day to get dressed with a bra and wig and so on. I tried on the dresses with nothing under and finished off shaving and so on with one of the dresses on. My wife called me and told me see was out back and that the niebours were away for the weekend if I wanted to come outside dressed it would be alright.
I was in no mood to fully dress, so I went outside just wearing the dress. My wife was kind of shocked because I don't believe she has ever seen me dressed without a wig or bra in the last few years. She told me the dress looked amazing on me and that looks like a very comfortable and refreshing look. She asked why I don't do that more often instead of spending so much time to get ready and to put everything away. Well I asked her why a few months ago she told me she didn't like the half and half but she said she liked it last night with just a dress on. I must admit it was great not feeling the discomfort of the bra or the heat of the wig and it felt so comfortable and relaxing. After all these years I learned and felt a new sensation. Anyone else have any new experience.

Well, now I think you know what attracts so many women to dress more casually, especially in the hot summer months. We can do the same as you have, and take the same freeing pleasure. Problem is that there are very few of us that can attain a feminine look without makeup, pads, forms etc. Unless we desire a blended, androgynous look, if we wish to go into the community en femme we are kind of locked in to our usual accoutrements. But at home - I say enjoy!

That's the one thing I'd love to hear. The look you're describing is my everyday look. My wife has told me that I'm beautiful or cute in both femme and drab mode. She has complimented items I've worn often followed by "I wish I could wear that". But, I've been dying for her to tell me "You look beautiful in that" I guess maybe it sounds petty but liking an item is not the same as liking an item on me.

I can understand how you'd be guarded about pushing limits. It's admirable that you respect your wife's boundaries. But, over the last year I've just been getting up and dressing in whatever catches my fancy for the day (retired) and allow her to admire or reject what i choose. She doesn't say much either way. But, she seems to have come to the point of respecting me more for just owning it than she did when I always sought permission or approval. I still consider her sensibilities but my sensibilities have come to take equal billing.

That is how I dress almost all the time when alone. Full dress, including forms.
Minus the wig and makeup. I am sure it is totally confusing for anyone that may see me.
But honestly how I feel most comfortable.

I don't think the dresses look good without the forms. Just my thoughts

Maria: That is what I do at times. I feel the same if I partial dress or put a complete outfit on.

If I follow the lead of my wife it is a loose fitting summery dress, no bra, no makeup, and, if I did have hair left on my head, it would be put up off the nape of the neck. I realize the total femme experience is what I usually want but I've adopted no makeup as it takes too long to apply and remove.

Thats pretty much me whenever I dress.....I don't bother with a wig or forms, as I've no desire to be female or will I ever pass. I like to do make-up etc and have bra's that fit my build....being of the slightly larger frame I sort of have a bit to fill them. lol. Nice to hear of another supportive wife/partner.

To each their own, rite? If I want real comfort in hot weather I wear loose shorts and short sleeve shirt. No shaping gear, bra, pads, wig or leg coverings. U should try it some time!:thumbsup:

Maria, while I prefer to fully dress with wig and makeup, I would not miss a chance to dress if I didn't have time to do my makeup.

I share your experience. For years, I?m a wearer of hose, pantyhose, thigh highs and nylons. A couple years ago, I got a pretty nasty cut on my shin, so I had to stop wearing hose. As I healed, I continued to shave and lotion my legs and the wonderful feelings of smoothness against a slip, lined skirt, etc. yes, when things healed up, out came the hose.

One of my favorite summer outfits when I’m not going anywhere is a ribbed tank top dress with nothing but panties underneath. (Knee length.) No wig, no forms. Just a cool breeze.
