We've come full circle

Well it seems I've come full circle now.
When we were first married I would occasionally wear my wife's clothing and shoes as my wardrobe was quite limited. Well oddly enough now the roles are reversed.

We're going on a trip with some friends in a few weeks and the other day my wife received a new pair of pants she had ordered. After trying them on she comes to me and asks "What tops and shoes can I borrow that will go with these pants?". Of course I relished the opportunity. I had told her many times she can wear whatever she likes that I have since our tops and shoes are the same size. Well, we spent about an hour in the closet (so much more fun now) with her trying on MY clothes. I must admit I loved it.

Granted, in the past she has borrowed pantyhose for dressy occasions since she rarely wears them, but somehow this was different. It got even better when she turned and said "And I want to borrow those new lipsticks you bought too".
My how things change!

Isn?t it wonderful? Thank goodness, we?ve been full circle for years. I?ve always had my own things, but when I gave up on pantyhose for thigh highs, occasionally, she?d borrow a pair. She, too quit wearing hose years ago, except for fancy occasions. She?s been my makeup tutor and occasionally borrows items. After dressed, we most always exchange opinions.
Every day seems to be a new adventure. Love it.

Amen to that! My wife and I wear the same size dresses and panties. I'd love to share, but it is not to be.

She's "known" about 39 years, but really known for about 20 and been supportive all of that time.
I say that as she discovered me that long ago but of course I went back in the closet swearing "never again" and we all know how that works. Then it was too much and I just told her this was part of me and I had to be able to express it so let's work it out.

My wife is tolerant, but not supporting. Today she went to a baby shower. After she put her dress on, she pulled out a necklace of mine and asked is she could wear it. OF COURSE. I was happy to see her use it.

It is nice to share things.
I finally got my purse back after she used it all summer. She liked my choice and wanted something smaller for the summer. Now she bought a new one so I finally have mine back.
