Went to have my pedi and the tech put a towel on my legs. My skort was too short when he was doing my nails. Then I found out that his wife was doing the lady next to me and must have said something to him. I didn't think it was that short.

They do it to all the women wearing minis at the salon I go to. I think the reason is that the techs, sitting lower than you, eye level with your thighs, don't wanna be distracted. ;)

Or, she thought it would be appropriate to treat you as they would any GG which hadn't occurred to the guy doing your pedi.

Nice picture - I notice that the nail techs do this for all their clients who are wearing skirts

Cute outfit. As Bridget said, it’s customary for the nail tech to cover the clients legs when they are wearing shorter skirts. I know they have for me.

I think you look great and can understand them putting a towel on your legs.
What color polish?

Girl, my salon puts a towel over my legs when I wear a short skirt or skirt. It's normal.

Looking at your picture my wife and I agree that this is a short skirt. So the tech's action makes sense.

I don't get my toes done, maybe one day. In my visits to nail salons, I don't recall seeing this. On the other hand, I don't often see the other customers wearing dresses or skirts to get done up.

Yesterday was the second time I went to salon dressed pretty. First time a few months ago for a pedicure. I did borrow my wife?s skort and no towel. After that experience wearing her skort, I just had to buy my own (or two. :0) . Anyway, i went to salon yesterday in my new skort to get my hands waxed (I?m going to start a new thread for that) and she did bring out the towel. She commented that I needed the towel just in case but I said no worries it?s a skort and we had a nice laugh ? felt good. Anyway, I was glad we did keep the towel because some wax dripped and glad it didn?t ruin my skort. :0)

I've asked my GG friends, they say it's common to have a towel over their legs if they are wearing a skirt.
I doubt if the nail tech's want to look to see if anyone is wearing shorts under their skirts.

It was the first time I'll make sure it doesn't happen again
