Considerate DADT

So the wife is off for the evening, and I was headed to my stash for some underwear. Phone rings: Wife - forgot something and is returning. Just just considerate or doesn't want to walk in on anything.

My ex-wife would do that when I first came out to her and she really
did not want to see anything. Later on she accepted more and didn't bother to call anymore
She knew it was time for me to dress as I prefered, and she really did not care to see at the time

Probably doesn't want to see anything. Knowing that I'm dressed a lot of the time, my wife will call me when coming home if a friend will be with her. We prefer family and friends not know I CD.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. You have no issues and she has no issue. Why is not as important as you ducked the issue.

For a while I would tell my wife that I was going out to a sports bar with the guys.

The "sports bar" part was true. So was the "guys" part. but all the guys were dressed as girls. Eventually, I got tired of lying and told her what I was really doing.

My dadt phase was much the same - phone calls from my wife to say when she was coming home - until one day she forgot! However, it turned out that what bothered her most was the secrecy. Now I can dress whenever I like, and we go shopping together, so getting caught turned out well. Guess I’m just lucky!

My wife is a non-driver so she would call home to let me know which bus she was on. That was her way to not walk in on me? Or, "Pick me up at the bus stop" ? The other day our mortality came up in a conversation and whether we should start downsizing our possessions so the kids will not have that burden. She said something that I took as a hint to "start getting rid of things." Darn, 24 Xerox boxes, 18+ USPS medium boxes of panties, yikes! I thought I had another ten years!!!!

My wife would always ring when she was on her way home from wherever she had been. But in the last month or so, it seems that she has not bothered. At the same time, she has not objected to me wearing a skirt, although she is less happy with the body shaping and wig. Slow progress, but progress nonetheless.

Kayy, i wish i would get caught and have the same results that you had. But i believe that being caught would end a relationship sadly
