Halloween Ideas. 🎃
I know it's lame, but on Halloween I can be in public without fear.
I'm stuck on female Superhero. Need help thinking of creative costumes.

The times I did venture forth on a Halloween I wanted to look my femme best. It was my intention to mingle with fellow humanoids by shopping for party goodies at grocery stores, and a doughnut shop. Both times I wore attractive dresses, black hosiery and heels with all the property undergarments, and full makeup (nails too) and a wig. To me taking the super hero way was somehow trying to hide the fact I was a cross dresser. I thought civilians would see through the ruse anyway, so I thought go for it.

U must be joking, Marci?:heehee:
With all the recent and memorable fem movie outfits to choose from I always find I have way more costumes than places to wear them to during Halloween!

One of the problems you can run into if buying a ready made costume is that they are often too small for a male body. I tried to buy an Elvira costume last year. It was so tight, I could not get it off without cutting it. My last clubbing adventure for Halloween was in 2022 when I wore this, and it was a lot of fun. I also had a red devil tail and plastic pitchfork ; )

People who saw me liked it a lot.

My Most successful was a "Gypsy Fortune teller". Got to wear all kinds of Jewlery and exotic makeup. A LOT better than just being "a woman". ALL the ladies at our adult Sunday School party wanted their fortunes/cards read. ( A great way to meet women --if not a bit odd) Needless to say I WON the costume contest. I inspired so many people that, for the NEXT year, my dead-on Mark Twain outfit, came in only SECOND place to an 80 year old, "Pregnant Nun".
This year I am Seriously considering something like a "goth chick" inspired by Angelica Houston's Adam's Family, "Morticia". OR I might "play it safe" and do "Colonel Sanders" again, If I can find my wig and white suit pants.

My favourite idea so far has been a "witch" because basically anything black will work if you have a witch hat to go with it. I can go frumpy or sexy or whatever and it will all work. Plus it goes well with a little more intense, dark makeup.
An LBD works great with some lace gloves and a cheap dollar-store hat.

I'm in a DC area Meetup Group. We always have a Halloween Party. I always go as a female character, not just me dressed up.
I've been:
A mermaid (but not the Little Mermaid)
A Hooter's waitress
Wonder Woman
A Geisha Girl
Victor/Victoria
A French Maid
A Belly Dancer
There must be more, but I can't think of them right now.
Sometimes I buy a ready-made costume, sometime I roll my own, sometimes mix and match.
For example, for my Geisha outfit, I bought a real Kimono.
For the mermaid, I bought fish scale leggings and a top.
For Wonder, I bout most of the costume complete, but I still had to add tights.
For my Hooter's Waitress, I bought all the pieces and added "official" Peavy tights.
There are "pop-up" Spirit Halloween" stores that open up in empty storefronts beginning in early October.

I have been thinking of dressing up like Dolly Parton and going to a karaoke bar and sing Johnny Cash songs such as Rings of Fire and Ghost Riders.

That sounds like fun, except I can't sing. I did buy a 38M bra (just for fun) that would be perfect for a Dolly Parton costume. LOL.

I'm enjoying following this thread. Our local CD group's October meeting will be a halloween theme. I'm considering dressing as a "theme park tourist" for the meeting. Making a list of what I have and what I need to acquire for the total look.

Lots of great ideas.
I'm thinking Morticia Adam's or Harley Quinn if I'm brave.

I'm thinking of going out as a nurse from the 70s/80s. You know with the white dress and hose and of coarse the nurse cap. I have everything I need except a stethoscope.

When I was younger I once went as a half girl and half guy.

I am thinking about Velma from Scooby Doo. I found the perfect red skirt, and just need to pair it with orange long-sleeve sweater or shirt and orange stocking/tights/high socks. I already have a pair of big glasses. The only part missing for me is the bob-style haircut. Just not sure I can rep that short hair. I think it does give the dressed up, but not dressed up, vibe for Halloween.

My choice would be Magenta from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I have a witch costume I wear on Halloween. One kid told me that he knew I wasn’t really a girl. I just let out a belly laugh. I was pretty sure he wasn’t Spider-Man either.

I like to dress up as Wonder Woman for Halloween. Also I would consider playing Supergirl or Reign. However, I would consider playing additional female characters.

Halloween was always a treat when I lived up in Vegas. My wife is a hater so I couldn't participate but,
I really saw confirmation that it's the CD national holiday. And I was surprised how many guys were just wearing boobs.
That's something that I've enjoyed from day one so I could almost tell they were good forms in good bras and not borrowed for the most part.

The year I went to school in Palo Alto (CA) my wife and I went to Castro Street for the Halloween celebration. "I seen so many things I ain't never seen before."
