I had another great day out. As I am reading others post similar adventures (the long trip, golf outing, etc), it reminds me of a Poker Forum I belong to that we post about Vegas trips and such (where we ate, where we played, etc). It is long, but I hope you enjoy.
I had to work a short day (3+ hours). I was hoping I'd be able to take entire Monday off, but I just had too much to do. This meant I needed to change on the go.
Left work and went to Planet Fitness. PF (for those non-Americans) black card membership allows you to go to any PF in the country ($25/month). Sorry for the advertising, but this is a great (and safe) place to change, especially if it is not your usual PF. I go to one I'd been before, but not my usual one. I did work out, then showered, shaved, and got dressed in the gender neutral bathroom (all that I have been have one...sometimes it is taken, and sometimes it needs to be cleaned, but 80+% of the time it is available and clean). I left PF in gender neutral workout shirt (clean one), sports bra, skort, and flip-flops. In the back of parking lot, I put on wig, forms, and my high heel sneakers (no show socks).
I wanted to go to thrift store to find a casual shirt to go with my skort. The gender neutral shirt one looks great, but as it is made for males, the fabric is thinner, and my breast forms stick out like it is a cold day, as you all know what I mean. I did not want to do any makeup yet, because I wanted to try on clothes, and I did not want to ruin anything I was not buying. So I wore a leopard style mask (COVID Blessings!). I found a great t-shirt that had all the bells and whistles (metaphorically). Super casual, a shade lighter than navy blue, long sleeve (to cover my arm hair), high enough neck (to cover my chest hair), and a really cute print "Kind Heart Open Mind". Also shaped well on the bottom, not like a male style and not a midriff which I am too old to wear. I love it! Also it was $6.
Now I need to get to my first appointment of the day. Waxing legs, bikini, and modified Brazilian (frontside hairy, backside bald). I only had 15 minutes until my appointment, so I applied a first layer of makeup in the car. Not optimal, but on a time crunch. Appointment went very well. She was excellent!
Now, I am really rocking my skort with my new legs. I do need to finish up my makeup, and go to appointment number two. I go to another PF and just on the other side of town, just walk in with everything on and in my backpack is my makeup kit. I get the gender neutral bathroom (open and clean), and finish my face. On to get my toes done. Obviously changing back to flip flops and getting a pedicure. Side note: I'd prefer a pedi before wax, but I could not get the appointments in that order. I get a light pink, which is my preferred color as it is subtle so when I am in male mode in locker room it is not too bright. I don't care too much, but then again I don't want to advertise "here are my toes!". As my toes are drying, she gets me a complimentary glass of white wine, and I enjoy the sipping the wine, and catching up on texts with my children while my toes are under the drying table.
Now it is about 3:00pm, and I have not really eaten anything yet (I don't like to eat anything before a leg/etc. wax). I go to a burger/beer place that I have been to before, which has outside seating. I order turkey burger/feta cheese in naan bread and a cold Kolsch style beer from the local brewery. Sat outside, ate, drank, read my book, drank, and was enjoying the sun on my legs and my pink toes also loved it.
Now it is about 4:30pm, and off to my haircut. My stylist knows about Jay, and last haircut I came in male mode she was disappointed with regular me. Anyway, she comments on how fabulous my boobs are, and I sheepishly say "well I cannot return THAT compliment to you, as it is a double standard". We both laughed. I did compliment her on her tennis/golf outfit, which she rocked of course. We talked about family, trips, etc. just like normal stuff. She did compliment my eyeshadow work, and I had to confess that I am still struggling with eyebrow penciling. She already waxes my eyebrows for male mode only, but I am working on the arch with the pencil. I just can't get it. She said next time you book, we will stay late and I will teach you what I do. WOW!
Came home. Took a shower, washed my face, through my clothes in the laundry, and now I am in male mode. Still VERY Happy! It was a great day.
