Hello, lovely people. I'm finally going to Buenos Aires for a 2 months long business trip. Planning to do crossdress there, the chance I've been wanted for the three years.:o

The story is that for the past three years, I've been living working in the caribbean, Barbados, never had a chance to return to the states for too long or travel to anywhere fancy that has a makeup studio for crossdressing. And the local culture on the island is very reserved, it's almost impossible to buy heels or dresses or make ups without going to a store in person or importing and colleting while talk to a customs officer and filing importation paperworks. So naturely I'm a shy person and try blend in the local reservedness. Now here is a chance that I can eventually traveling in BA and going to stay for a long time. Resume my lost three years life style that is coimg alive again in two weeks. :)

I did some google research, it seems Buenos Aires only has one make up studio called 'Crossdressing Buenos Aires' is in business that catering to crossdresser. My main concern is that my spanish is only at the medium level, I can have some spanish conversations, but the studio seems like mostly serving to the local girls, I'm worried about I might have difficult time to talk to the artist. Anyone from BA or has been there? Or anyone knows where I might find an English speaking makeup studio? I would love to hear your advise.

Also I will be staying at the hotel for the most time, I don't think I can buy makeups or clothing to the full wardrobe to do it myself, any advise for adventuring in crossdressing in BA? Much appreciated.

Google translate is your friend. You can download the app, and you don't need to be online to use it.

Google Translate is what I was going to suggest.

But, there's a very infamous US politician who was allegedly was a drag queen in Brazil before being elected to the House of Representatives before being kicked out and pleading guilty to a felony. Maybe look him up.

I heard about it he did his beauty pegeant when he was 19 yrs old, while traveling in Brazil, stories behind was unknown.

Google translate kind works a few years ago when I was traveling to Thailand. I guess I will just to find out, which I do speaks some spanish, it just broken.
The other day I saw a post on this forum that around 2008 someone had an English speaking dresser in BA done his full outfit session, but it's been so long.

Hi Ana, I went to BsAs a couple years ago with my wife and we had an incredible experience. We hired a makeup artist to help us and she was amazing. We went dancing in a venue called palacio alsina in a party called Dorothy, very lgbt friendly. The allowed us to skip a huge queue and people were very nice to us.

As my wife had me do some nail extensions before our trip, I had them in nude colors to be more discrete and we went to a nail salon in buenos aires to paint them black. Also a great fun.

I stayed half a block from ?crossing dress buenos aires?, but did not go there. I would in a next trip, very secure neighborhood, a few blocks from puerto madero.

DM me for more details and contacts. I hope you enjoy, its a great city!

Hi Ana,

I am sure the people at the salon will make you very welcome- that's their job, and it's a happy sort of job.

Take lots of pictures on your phone of make-up, hair, eyes, nails, etc, that you like- that way you can show them exactly what you want, and they can make suggestions.

It's possible one of them will speak some English.

Have a wonderful time!
