I had to go to auto zone a few days ago for my pickup trucks radiator the neck for filling with fluid melted from an overheating problem. I also noticed the inlet for the upper radiator hose was also melted some as well. It had a lifetime warranty so I took the old one into the store and the clerk that waited on me commented about my wearing black leggings and a floral print silk blouse looked nice together, I said thank you and he took my old radiator in but I was told I?d have to return the next day as they didn?t have one in stock. Well the next day comes and the same clerk was working only this time he had a black skirt on so in turn I said nice skirt. His reply was also thank you. Nothing else was said but I?ll be getting some more parts soon for my new Toyota Corolla I just purchased. I?m wondering how the next visit there will go. I?m 24/7 as far as dressing so nothing new on my part. This is the first person I?ve met in person that had anything feminine on that I?ve met in public since I?ve been dressing which started in 1982. Have many of you had occasions like this come up and what was your reaction ?

Never happened to me, but then I seldom go to auto parts stores.

I'd seen random MIADs from time to time. I recall seeing a guy with shaved legs wearing short shorts out with is son. My wife was with me and she was appalled.

Then there was the customer service rep at the grocery shop where my wife usually shops. He used to have his nails done and wear femme jewelry, including bracelets and a necklace. He was typically dressed femme light. I mentioned this to my wife one time and she said, "Oh, that's just 'K'". My wife had kind of a soft spot for him and I hoped that it would translate to me. But, "Nope". NIMBY.

I assume you meant "random" people. I'm in a few TG social groups and we have GNO in public places regularly, in full femme.

Yesterday I was dropping off items at Savers and saw a young man wearing a long skirt - I think an employee. My reaction was to think to myself that it was a beautiful skirt and that I was happy for him that he was enjoying and comfortable wearing it.

At work one day in the usual flurry flow of people and stepping off the elevator the director of security introduced me to a new young male officer who had the most perfect eye makeup I'd ever seen.
Not overdone in the slightest. Just elegant and very pleasantly appropriate.

i had lunch at a pizza restaurant that opened up at 3 pm. i was their first customer. The young man who waited on me was wearing a ring, necklace and earrings, that matched and was in my opinion jewelry meant for women. Along with painted nails. I complimented him on the jewelry and nails. He said thank you and told me who gave them to him. But he didn't keep the conversation going, so i opted to end the conversation as well.

Me neither. I never go to the local auto parts store but buy a ton of parts online!
