Added Panties

Until recently, once I reached adulthood, my dressing was limited to bras. I never like panties in my early days because those old panties didn?t provide needed support in front. Recently, I took a chance that the modern cuts and stretchy fabrics might be more comfortable and was delighted to find that they are.

Does anyone else have experience adding new garments to their dressing, or would you suggest I add even more - and which garments would be on the list that you can recommend?

I've just bought myself some 80 denier opaque flock lined tights in a couple of colours, ideal for when I can't shave my legs which is like all the time at the moment :eek:

I've also bought my first pair of high waisted leggings which I simply adore wearing, tucking essential for a smooth profile but feel great on.

I recently bought thong with waist control from Walmart. Not very good for tucking but love the additional support at the waist.

If you like the support up front, try control briefs or girdles next!

I found that to be part of the fun of the journey. For years, I was just on pantyhose (and loving it). I added dresses, and enjoyed it even more. The same as I added panties, shoes, bras, shapewear, wigs and makeup. This was all over a span of 15 years and I thrived on each addition. Take your time, enjoying each new piece and have fun.

I would say girdles, but no one knows what those are anymore. So, I suggest shaping brief panties, long leg panties and high waist panties, waist cinchers and body shapers. Panties my have been the gateway drug, but what kept me going was my mom's girdles.

I would add corsets! Nothing (except bras which I so love too!) says femininity like a corset!

If comfort is important to you, try searching online for 'lingerie for men' or 'panties for men', that sort of thing. There's quite a choice now, same fabrics and styles as female, just designed with more of a pouch in front.

Certainly I would recommend more panties. You might want to experiment with different styles and fabrics so see what you like best, but then, there is a whole world of wonderful silky lingerie. Full slips, half slips, camisoles and even garter belts and garnered stockings. ( good luck finding this latter)

Highly recommend panties, the more feminine the better.
I for one don?t wear them for practicality or support. I wear them because they look and feel amazing and I feel sexy when I wear them.
Tucking is fine and there is always a place for it but I personally enjoy the look of how certain ?things? look in silky panties. Feels great too!! ;)

If I was starting from almost scratch at this time of year, I would get basic foundation garments, particularly shape wear, breast forms, hip padding, some tights and pantyhose, and a few casual fall tops and jeans or slacks, , and some casual low heel shoes. Add a flattering wig and some basic makeup.

I so relate, I feel gross if there is a bulge showing in my front. I don't see any type of panty as cute or sexy if it is covering a bulky area, that's just me. I respect every one's opinion and likes but this is what I feel comfortable with and like.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I?m thinking of tights when it gets a little cooler, and then a camisole or two. My wife likes cotton, but I prefer something similar to satin.

When I was in my teens, I tried everything then my mother had, except shoes - my feet were always too big. Being 61 means this was a long time ago.

The one garment that stands out in my memory was a very sexy all-in-one. I?ve asked my wife about this and I might add this first.

Over the many years, it?s been a process of continuous adding things. I don?t think there?s anything left I haven?t worn. Since retiring, it?s always panties, bra, and now, thigh highs. It?s fun to dig out something I haven?t worn or forgotten. I even enjoy the decisions, ummm half or full slip, shapewear, which bra, incidentally, I?ve recently tried front clip underwire bras. Love them, girdle, hip pads, corset, garter belt/nylons. The list goes on.
