I took off a waist cincher the other day, and somehow one of the hooks went right in to my finger.
Damn that hurt pulling it out. Took ages to stop bleeding.
It made me reflect on if something happens while dressed, and then having to go to hospital.

Any injuries ladies?

Ouch Kym!
A razor nick in a very sensitive area during a full body shave a few years back then a slightly worse injury when trimming using (proper hair cutting) scissors in a similar area not too long ago

Had a head-on car collision when underdressed, luckily only wearing panties (under my boxers) and a vest; the staff in A&E (ER) didn't even raise an eyebrow at my smooth legs!
It was a good smack and the car was written off, I was very lucky but it didn't feel that way when (amongst other things) he seatbelt cut my neck and bashed my insides badly enough for me to pass blood for a couple of weeks after.

Kym,

Not sure if you saw my post about it but I had a pretty bad injury from tape I was tucking that caused so much skin damage around my hip and waist area I had to go to an urgent care clinic to get antibiotics and steroids. I was in a lot of pain for a couple of days which made it very difficult to go to work. Fortunately I was not permanently damaged. I posted the details here.

https://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?280269-Use-tapes-with-caution-!&highlight=

Although I was not dressed when I went in, I just spilled the beans about how I got the injury. I just showed the female doctor the pictures. She was professional about it.

I have used tapes since then, but now I realize what I did wrong and it will not happen again. It took months for the marks to fade from that injury.

I was staying at the hotel and in the evening I wanted to dress and go to a restaurant, which was closing early. I was shaving my face and in a hurry cut myself. Nah... shouldn't really count though I was shaving only to dress.
Another day I was wearing for the first time a pair of heels that were a bit narrow and found my little toe and my pantyhose covered with blood - nail pressed against the second toe and cut the skin. Shoes are from real leather and since then adapted to my feet and are comfortable for few hours.

Kym, as someone who takes blood thinners, something like that would be a trip to the hospital for me.

The first 10 years I dressed I wore tite laced corsets every time. Until they damage my sciatic nerves!

Now, I wear waist cinchers and girdles. I pull on my cinchers before I put on my pads so I can leave the hooks, hooked.

How about bruised ear lobes from wearing your clip on earrings too tight? Good thing my wife knows of my dressing, it would have been a hard one to explain.

Kim,

I was fully dressed one time and had extreme abdominal pain and went straight to my doctors office. My doctor wasn't in and his nurse checked my vitals and asked if it was OK to be treated by an associate doctor. I said yes and the doctor that came in used to live two blocks from me and we used to run together on the trail in a park one block from me when he was still going to med school. He came in, looked at me, looked at my chart, and studied me for a minute before he recognized that I was the person he had expected to see when he came in. He offered to take me to the hospital, had the nurse help me to the door while he drove up to the back door. He took me by his house and he and his wife helped me remove my makeup and fingernail polish and loaned me some of his clothes since my wife isn't driving and would need to get a ride to the hospital from one of our kids. ( I had a 1" kidney stone)

Many years ago when my wife was away on business it was always an opportunity to have some extended Danielle time. On one occassion I did a full body shave, which was rare in those days, and decided to glue my breastforms on for the first time. I put the adhesive on and attached the forms but a few minutes later my chest was burning. In my rush to experience going braless I had neglected to let the adhesive gas off enough before attaching. Took the forms off and my chest was red but thankfully not a serious chemical burn. When my wife came home I had the embarassing task of explaining I had a crossdressing accident.

I've had the normal little nicks doing a very close facial shave but one time more recently a nicked a nipple shaving. Needless to say, they bleed a lot.

Ah, the pain we go though in the elusive pursuit of our femininity.:)

Shoe injuries !!!, pointed to shoes used to kill me and leave rubbed skin which was sore for days, but my injuries now have hardened over the the years and wearing pointed toe shoes is not a problem.

I’ve had bra hooks go into my breast forms, wrecking them.

I’ve been to the hospital emergency room four times wearing panties, but the reasons for the visits were not crossdressing related.

The rash from using tape to create cleavage is perhaps the most painful injury I've suffered. It took a week or more to heal and it's not something I want to experience again. That said I am starting to experiment with the concept again but being more cautious. Wish me well.

Ever so quietly closing the front door for a moonlight walk many years ago, a ten pound ceramic mosaic decided to dismount from above the door and hit me square on the top of the head. I caught it mid air before it crashed into the concrete porch. Then, ever so quietly again, I cleaned up the blood trying desperately not to pass out. I believe I explained the giant gash when I got home from work the next day as, "Look what happened today!" which was truthful as I was sneaking out at 1:00 am.

I had a couple of issues in the past with gluing on breast forms and using tape
I have sensitive skin and the first time I had breast forms glued on, when I took them off, I had red circles with tiny blisters all around where the edges of the breast forms were.
They took a few days to go away and I had to be careful not to let my wife see me without a shirt on for a few days as I was still in the closet at the time.
Another time I tried double sided tapes for adhering breast forms and after removing them, I had distinct red rashy areas where the tapes were stuck to my skin that wouldn't go away.
I tried using a hair brush to redden the rest of my chest so it would look like I just had a rash over my entire chest instead of 6 distinct tape marks, but it didn't work too well.
Again ad to be careful not to let my wife see me without a shirt on for a few days.
This is one of the reasons I eventually switched to breast plates or forms that come with straps that fit like a bra and no longer use adhesives.

Shoes. Even though I am only a 7.5 size shoe they still a a bit too narrow to be completely comfortable and not leaving marks after wearing for the day.

I recall developing a rash after wearing breast forms for several days on end. I of course showered and cleaned the forms daily. It may have been chafing or heat rash.

I have posted this on here before, but around the time when I first got my corset and was breaking it in, I was working from home for a couple weeks and the long, repeated corset usage damaged the nerve along my side and my thigh is permanently partially numb. Luckily the Meralgia Paresthetica doesn?t cause any pain or hinderance to any activity, especially with exercises I do for it.

I have had the same issue when wearing forms for several hours or days. I see a Veterans dermatologist every three months and she noticed the marks. I had to come clean and tell her about the breast forms and my hobby. She was so accepting, offering solutions to help with the irritation.
On another occasion I had to get to the hospital quickly for an emergency removal of kidney stone. Prepping for the operation the nurse remarked how I was already clean shaven all over.

Aggravated an ankle ligament injury wearing heels years ago. The family were told it was due to playing football.

I guess this was not an injury as such but the result of wearing a corset and discovering a problem.
Back in 2009 I noticed a pain in my right side around my kidney. I just thought that the corset was too tight and tried not to sit down on a seat other than the edge. I was ok standing up.
Some weeks later after an ultrasound for a bladder type issue or kidney stone the tech found a dark shadow in my kidney.
It was a huge tumour in the middle of the kidney and too large to incise. It had to go.
Fortunately it was benign.
