When ever I see the word purge it's usually about our fem clothes, it's good to hear it's the other way around for once. I believe I could say, HAPPY PURGING!

You go girl!
But you might want to hold onto a couple things that you can use if you have to do some particularly nasty, dirty job.
No need to mess up your nice things, right?
Or do you already have some femme "grubbies"?

That's great Glenda, it must be so liberating to purge all your male clothes, good for you...

Maybe it's symbolically important but, it's OK women to wear men's jeans and t shirts for tooling around painting and fixing stuff.
Unless part of your program is erasing things you view as stereotypical.

I haven't worn men's in 12yrs. And most of my tees are women's or unisex. I'm surprise how little men's clothes that I have.

Good for you, Glenda.
Now that I wear dresses almost exclusively, it's also time for me to donate the great majority of my male clothes. The last time I wore trousers was to get up on the roof in April to replace shingles. Now and then I might wear a man's coat and tie outfit to church for the sake of variety, but I wear dresses and sometimes heels most of the time.

I just realized that there is probably an evolution of crossdressing:
* Tries on someone's else's clothes.
* Buys their own clothes. (Only skirts and dresses)
* Owns full wardrobe including makeup, wigs, etc. (Including one pair of pants)
* Discards male clothes.
* Starts to wear pants as often as genetic girls.
* Starts buying certain rugged guy garments to wear for gardening, etc., just like the genetic girls do.

No, I'm not going to donate all my male clothes. Just most of them. So I won't go through the last phase. And I am not going to wear pants (trousers) as often as genetic girls. It's so nice not to have that wedge of cloth against my male junk.

Didn't have to. I've just replaced them over the last 20 years and they've disappeared through attrition.
