I am so excited! We have our own pool and tonight just before sunset my wife suggested that I go swimming in my tank swimming suit that is bright pink with white polka dots. I had talked about doing this before it gets too cold to do it and tonight was a nice warm night. It is my first time doing this and it felt so good. It was even better because she suggested it. I feel so good about myself and thankful that I have an understanding wife. Have any of you been swimming in a woman's swimsuit and what was your experience like?:battingeyelashes:

I would LOVE to swim and enjoy a pool or the beach in a women?s suit. I have not yet had the chance, not sure how my wife would feel on that one, but she is rather supportive, so likely not an issue. How great that your wife suggested it for you! Sounds wonderful. I am so glad you got to enjoy the experience. Aaaaaaaand, now I feel the pink fog leading me toward some swimwear shopping online =P

I was just exploring this for the first time last week. I had seen some really nice long-sleeve (one piece) bathing suits that cover all of my arm hair and chest hair, but still look AWESOME. Most of summer my legs and bikini area are clean, so I think I can rock it. Would like to try on first, and as there is no place for me to wear it, and they are pricey so not going to happen for me. But search long-sleeve woman bathing suit and you will what I mean.

Just a few times, a cheap tankini and wig. I was by myself where the place I was staying had an outdoor hot tub, did that for a few nights in a row. The last night another guest showed up and we just sat and soaked and talked about nothing. And, once at a crowded public beach on July 4. My thinking was there was so much going on that I would not be noticed. It certainly seemed that way.

Both times were just amazing. Certainly gender euphoria.

Bikinis are quite revealing! Any bit of hair or slight blemish will show. Watch those tan lines too because others will be. I have become comfortable in bikinis as long as my weight is correct.

I would so love to do this. Wearing a skirted one piece as my excitement would be revealed until I reached the cold waters...

Later this month, I will be in New Orleans for about four days with two friends, going as Colleen the whole time for a girls' get-away. A few months back, I bought my first swimsuit (skirted) at a thrift store, and I have worn it around the house on some hot days. I plan on wearing it to the pool at our hotel at least once. I am 80% eager to do so, and 20% scared. Whenever I go out, I dress to blend in and not attract attention to myself. That will be how I approach pool time as well.

I've done this a few times at the Y. Had to check-in as my male self, but then changed in the private family dressing room into my one piece suit and swim cap. My forms give me some buoyancy.

Had a pool with the last house and swam pretty a few times. More often just naked. At one point I just wanted to fill it in as it was more nuisance than it was worth.
I've swam in a hotel pool wearing a one piece with forms. Scandalous. And I made a movie.

I don't swim, but I recently bought my first woman's swimsuit -- a super-cute one piece halter top with wild 1980s colors that I just love! I wore it sitting around our fire pit at night. Felt so good! I closed my eyes and day dreamed about being at a party dressed that way, with all my friends accepting me.

I go swimming quit often in my 2 piece. I have been to the beach and on a cruise. If you look around there are a lot of cis women who do not fit the perfect hour glass figure but still will wear a 2 piece. 343528 This was on a cruise this past March.

I have done this a few times as I have my own pool. This year I got the courage to venture off the a beach in south coastal Maine and loved it

Yes I have swum several times in open back, high leg one piece swimsuits at my old house with a pool. I prefer the suits with built in foam cups with the elasticated lining band the goes under the breast line which helps to hold the forms in place. It a totally different feeling. Laying on the lounger to dry off leaves some interesting tan lines.

My wife doesn't know that I crossdress. But one time last summer, we were at her family's cabin on a hot day and decided we wanted to go swimming. However, neither of us had brought a bathing suit. It happened there were two women's one piece bathing suits hanging in a closet. My wife suggested I wear one and she would wear the other. She said there were no neighbors around to see, so go ahead. So I did. It was very comfortable. I now own my own gurl's bathing suit, but of course have not shown it to my wife.

Why was I thinking about this for the first time last week. I'll probably never get the chance but the ladies who have done it make it sound wonderful.

I often spend time reviewing the Lands End catalog swimsuit section. Why? Because they carry long torso versions of most of their one piece suits. Something I found out I generally need. I would love to buy and try one, but they are kind of pricey and my chances to wear it would be near zero. Still I dream like a kid with the old Sears catalog. Still if I find one at a thrift store, it?s mine.

I have always wanted to either go swimming or sit in a hot tub in swimwear. I had a chance one time in 2010 to sit in the hot tub at my dads old house during winter and it was snowing, but my aunt also lived there in the in-law apartment and came home just as I was about to go out to the hot tub wearing an old swimsuit.

Forms help float, but since I was doing lengths, they created quite a bit of drag.
I used to have a swimming cap as the wig just doesn't mix with water, like hair does.
The pools allow me to change in the private family rooms

My new black swimsuit doesn't have as much material between the legs and therefore no good for public swimming pools, not to mention they don't support my forms so I need a bra as well

Since my natural bra cup size is DD, I had better wear a women's swimsuit unless I want to give people an eyeful. :):):)
I have a tankini whose bottom provides room for my male junk.

I bought my first suit some 10 or so years ago.
We had a backyard pool and I used it frequently. Didn't really care if the neighbors saw me as they wouldn't recognize me anyway when dressed.
Now we've retired and moved. We are by a lake, have a boat and now and then I'll wear one of my suits when we go out. It's so nice to enjoy the sun and the water.

I did a swimsuit photo shoot back in 2020 when my GG friend Michelle lived at a house with a nice pool. Unfortunately, she doesn't live there any more.

I now have a collection of swim suits, including some one piece suits, two piece, and a bikini. I got to wear three different combinations while in Atlantic City a couple of weeks ago, and have been out in Hawaii and Australia. Fun to be out, even if not going into the water because of the wig.

I have been normally wearing women's swimwear while swimming, but have a rash guard shirt on. This summer I started to wear the swimwear without the shirt on.

One piece swimsuits were my first pieces of CD clothing, about 25 years ago. I enjoyed swimming lessons and recreative swimming in public pools much more than in male swimwear. They fit well on my naturally wide hips. Then I dared wearing Adidas and Arena two pieces, in pools or flat open water. I started learning surfing more recently. It has been a good excuse to buy cute girly Roxy wetsuits/springsuits/sundresses, Decathlon surf bikinis with many colors to match my mood of the day, and OceansApart yoga sets for when I am on the mat training mobility and flexibility. Tops fit well on my chest now since some reasonable but noticeable curves have grown up there.

I also hate the ballooning effect you get with the usual men's swimwear, shorts and boardshorts. So that is one of the reasons I like one piece and bikini bottoms/tops.

I was in Target yesterday, in man clothes, looking at swimming suits. No one said or did anything to make me uncomfortable. They had a whole rack on close out but I am not quite ready for that yet.
I did buy a short marked down to $7.50 and I loved it so much I almost wore it home.

a few years ago, I had the opportunity to take a solo road trip from California to Idaho. It was a long trip, but enjoyable because I got to dress along the way. On the way, I kept seeing signs about a hot springs in Bishop (CA). It sounded good, for when I stopped for the night, I looked them up on line and saw that they had morning lap swimming from 7-9. Right at 7 I called and spoke with a lovely young lady and asked if they permitted men wearing 'one piece' suits. She said "you mean like a speedo" and I said "No, like a ladies one piece." She said "of course, we have a resident on the grounds that wears one to almost every adult pool exercise program." That was all I needed to hear, and I was on the road. When I got there the girl I spoke with was at the front office and was collecting the entry fee. When I told her I was the one that called, she said because I was in male mode walking in, I would have to use the mens changing stalls. No problem. There was about 10 other people in the pool already and it was a mix of males and females, and there was a couple of younger people as well. Anyways, after I changed and walked out, I did get a couple of strange looks, but that nothing more than I was expecting. But after I got into the pool and swam a couple of laps, things were completely normal and people were friendly. It was a great time swimming and they even let me shop in their gift shop (which included bathing suits). Really wish I could go back again, but no longer in that part of the country.

I have been in the water a couple of times. I only went in about chest deep, so I didn?t mess up my hair and makeup.

I used to enjoy lap swimming in a woman's bathing suit at my health club on occasion. I had a one-piece Speedo suit. With a good full-body shave and a swim cap no one gave me a second look. The first time I did it I wore my breast forms, glued on. Unfortunately, with all the body movement, the water and the constant drag going through the water, one of them came loose. Fortunately, it stayed in my suit. It was a little awkward with one form on my chest and the other at my waist looking like a small pot belly. I grabbed my towel and made a quick exit from the pool area. I left the forms at home after that!!

When I was on the girl's retreat a couple of weeks ago, I wore a one-piece women's bathing suit for the first time. I went to the hot tub, but there were only a few of us girls there.

But, a long journey starts with a single step.

I was able to find a long sleeve two piece (rash guard top with a modest bikini bottom) for $20. Chest/stomach hair covered and most of my arm hair, too. The rash guard top is so snug that I do not look good with breast forms. However, I may just wear it in male-mode. I like the look, and it almost seems androgynous to some extent, but it is definitely on the fem side. I am going on a trip with my brothers in 2 weeks and will have one day before they arrive to have pool time alone. Although my wife is patient and understanding, and will go out with me dressed fem, I cannot see wearing this suit in front of her EVER, so I am still just trying to justify if it is worth it.

I have worn a one piece privately in my own spa. I am on a big trip currently with my wife and she has been more open to me dressing than ever before. We had just decided to do a drive which included a swimming hole. I did not have my swimmers in the car but as we were looking in a department store before the drive there was a one piece on clearance quite cheap. My wife suggested it and I happily agreed.
When we got to the place there was a few people around so she insisted I keep my men?s tank on over the top. Still good.
Since then I bought a 2 piece which I have worn bottoms exposed but rash vest on top mostly and been to quite a few swimming spots. It?s been great.

Suzie and Erin,
Thank you both so much for your kind words. Somewhere along the way, actually it was a very longggg time ago when we used to take pictures with a camera and have to bring to the pharmacy to get them developed hahahaha that a nice background adds ALOT to the photo. Toilets and clothes on the floor tend to ruin a shot. Hahahahaha Thank you, girls!!!

In many other areas I have oodles of confidence.
Not so much in a swimsuit. My concern is getting so hot that I need to cool down in the water.
Sounds easy I know. But I just don't think that wearing a wig and all that water will not work out.
Going without a wig is challenging in my head, probably nobody would notice but like everyone else we all have that little voice that says "don't do it".
The other little vain part of me does not want strap marks. In the garden I can be naked and it is private. Great for those new summer dresses that show off the back and shoulders.

After seeing Laurens snow bikini picture a few days ago, I am reluctant to post any of my pictures, ever again! My gosh that picture was good!
But now I have let a few days go by, and have a few "buffer" posts to separate us, so here we go.

Years ago I went to the hotel pool during SCC in Atlanta, I wore a tiny yellow polka dot bikini, but those days might have gone by now, we'll see. I think I have lost the pictures from back then.

Over the last couple of months, I have stayed at 3 different nice hotels both for work and on vacation, all 3 have nice outdoor pools and Jacuzzi's and I visited them all several times during each stay and had a great time. The best experience was at the resort hotel pool in Vegas where I was out among many many people, both on the sun tanning deck chair and in the pool a number of times, enjoyed nice (but very expensive!) drinks, and felt I fit in perfectly fine and had no issues. Interacted with several people and even got nice compliments on my nails from one of the pool drink girls.

Here are a couple of pictures, one from Vegas 2 weeks ago and another from the business hotel Jacuzzi late evening last week.

The only thing is that since I cannot wear my usual butt and hip padding, my body shape is obviously not great, but you just cant have it all, right.

I did end up with a nice swimsuit "Sun Tattoo"!

Yes, often. I find going in on chillier nites makes the pool feel warmer.

I get little or no thrill from swimming in women's suits or bikinis. But, swimming with a mermaid tale was exciting and challenging!

And, swimming naked in a full female silicone suit was very---er---erotic?!:o

I have been swimming in a women's suit more times than I can count. Mostly at hotel pools. I usually wait until about 10 minutes before the pool closes, then just stay in after closing time. Very little chance of someone walking in. I have been busted One time a hotel employee came in, (after closing time) to straighten the area up, pick up dirty towels that others had left, put clean towels out, etc. I asked her if the pool was closed and if I had to leave. She replied that I was good and that she wouldn't tell anyone.

Yes, I have been to swimming pools on several occasions. I have three different one piece swimsuits, all purchased at the end of season sales. My favorite is yellow with black trim that accents a female shape. I find the other two suits have straps that keep sliding down my shoulders. My fave swimsuit has a hook that closes a bra strap in the back. Everything stays put. To use my breastforms, I just slip them into the bra pockets and they stay in place. When I first started wearing swimsuits, I tried padding my one piece suits with towels and old shoulder pads to try to get a little more of a femme shape but that was more effort than it was worth.

I acquired several two piece swimsuits. But I wore them only in the closet so I soon donated to charity all but my favorite. It was a string bikini of metallic material, too brief to conceal and hold a tuck. It was fun in the closet, though. In the past month, I bought a three piece swimsuit, top, bottom, and swim skirt, at a deep discount end of season sale. I also bought an extra bottom to use alone in male mode.

I went swimming en femme only at hotels and only while traveling. I just get into my suit, throw on a long, loose shirt as a coverup, and walk to the hotel pool. I get into the water but never deep enough to wet my wig. The chore of trying to get chlorine out of the wig and the prospect of losing the wig while underwater discouraged getting my wig wet. I just walked around in the water like many old folks do. I sat for a while in the hot tub when there was one available. Usually, I do all this at the ends of the day, either early or late. There are fewer people in the pool then but I am more concerned about tan lines, so I use hotel pools in a manner that my swimsuit is never exposed to the sun while I am wearing it.

My most recent experience was last January. I try to take a week in Arizona every January. Every day that week, I got up early, dressed in leggings, sports bra, and a loose t shirt to go walking for an hour or so. I wore just enough makeup to deflect a beard shadow a little because I wanted to get out early and not delay. When I returned, I cooled off in the outdoor hotel pool, hitting the outdoor hot tub also. Hey, what can I say, it is Arizona in January, perfect weather for an early swim. The pool was adjacent to the complimentary breakfast area. By the time I was ready to shower and get on with the next part of my day, there was a lot of breakfast traffic. I just put on my coverup and flip flops and owned it, walking back to my room outdoors in pedestrian traffic like any woman returning from the pool. No problems at all.
