As I said previously, I wore a flapper's costume to my CD/TG Halloween Meetup last Saturday.

Pics to come.

I have a Pilates class on Halloween, costumes encouraged. Should I wear my flappers dress and lace pantyhose to class, with no bra, forms, makeup or wig?

My bravery quotient is much higher than it used to be and I'm seriously thinking about it.

Do I dare?

Oh, yes, this is your opportunity, Steffi! You will regret it later if you do not do this. Please let us know how it went when done.

That's why I'd wear pantyhose. To cover the unmentionables.

I did go to Yoga class in a Hooter's waitress, including a bra and foam forms, but still no makeup or wig. This was pretty close to exercise attire. It wasn't much of a departure from my usual yoga outfit since I usually wore femme (think floral) yoga pants. I did get some friendly laughs as I took off my sweats and the girls slowly recognized my costume. I got big laughs when I openly inserted my foam forms into my bra.

I could do it (again). Since the class is usually entirely GGs except for me, it's about as friendly an audience as I could expect.

Why not take it one step further and include bra, forms, makeup and wig?

A flapper dress at Pilates class? I doubt they met a "wear a costume - as in - "wear a dress". I'm assuming that they are still going to do Pilates moves and not just stroll around in costume.

Don't you have a Halloween party to wear your flapper dress? I know that my flapper dress would be up around my waist in Pilates class - pantyhose or not.

Of course, you are free to do as you wish. If you want to wear a flapper dress as you do Pilates moves, that it up to you.

Steffi: I urge you to do the Full Monty, or at least everything but makeup. I’ll bet you get nothing but congratulations on a great (daring) costume. This could be a great Halloween experience.

Go for it! [Easy for me to say.]

Best regards,
Rhonda

you'll have to buy some 24 hour sweat resistant foundation, I use it in summer, it does work to a point when I go clubbing. But have that powder compact ready for later, lol

Rhonda Darling - In England, the phrase 'the Full Monty' has a completely different meaning !

Thanks to the 1997 film, it now means going completely naked !!

Presumably that is NOT how Steffi wants to go !!!

They like and accept you - that must feel pretty darn good.
