I took my wife to her doctor's appointment, in full male mode.
There's one woman is the office who has the most beautiful, dramatic makeup. I told her, "I love your makeup. If I were a girl I would want you to do my makeup." I got a " Thank you.
What I really wanted to say (but didn't, because it was too creepy) was I would really like you to do my makeup.

Yep, when you see a GG with perfect makeup and wish....
Practice makes perfect, I tried several methods of applying my foundation, most either leaving my foundation pitting or doesnt last long, I beleive different methods work for differnt people, the key to my foundation is clean the skin thoroughly before applying, and not using any primer, I get a good 24 hours from this method, anyway I divert from the question, yes I look at other womens makeup, and by youtube and different methods find one that suited me, so have lots of money ready buy different foundations, but first go for a test to match you to your correct skin colour, I did this last year when I went out with Helen Highwater to the Mall. Then try lots of different makes etc till you find the one that suites you best. But I still see women with amazing makup and have makeup envy !!!!!!

Yeah, Makeup envy. I've seen it on models and on the SAs at makeup stores. But it's still pretty rare in real life.
I have done several professional makeover in the past. My Profile Pic (not my Buggs Bunny avatar) is the results of one of those makeovers.

There is a definite art to make up. An art that I don't have.
I've got a good GG friend whose makeup is always flawless and natural. In fact it's only when I see her without any makeup (seldom) that I realize how much of a difference it makes.

Hmmm... maybe ask next time after your compliment ask if she is a makeup artist. That's not creepy, and maybe she will do yours or you'll find out where to go to get a top makeover or even instruction!

Blue said. Makeup is an art. I agree! I have also said that beautiful bras can be a work of art. I?m beginning to see a theme here. I think dressing and coordinating clothing is also an art form. While some may label me a crossdresser, I think it is more of me just trying to participate in making art! Where?s my makeup brushes, I need to work on my masterpiece!

Not everyone is a makeup expert. Some are great but only on their own face.

Steffi, I'm afraid that what you said was creepy already.
Does no one practice and get it how they want, or is it only me ?

Debs. I practice all the time. More often when I have found a new shade of eyeshadow.
Last week I bought an electric blue which is stunning. Only by trying it could I see that it was too bright for a person of my years to use on my floating lid. I tried four different ways and none of them worked for me.
I then went to YouTube to see how else I could use it. A fine line under my eyes was striking without being too much.
Miley Cirus used a similar colour on one of her concerts. It looked wonderful on her but one has to keep in mind she is a performer and so much younger.
