Getting a women's instinct

I took her out for dinner last night and afterwards we ended up in a mall coffee shop. We were communicating like everyone else with our faces stuck on our cell phones. My wife went into a small boutique next door and bought a white lacy style Gene bra with matching panties. She was showing me the set and I asked her why she didn't also buy a set in black. She instantly looked up at me and told me that I'm really developing a women's instinct more and more. I'm always making a comment about something about "women can't ever have enough purses" or "make-up and different style clothing advice" and that "you need curtain items in different colours". She believes it has to do with when I'm dressed what I believe is needed.
I found it interesting and never really realized it, I believe with our situation we would think alittle like a women. After all we are all beautiful women.

One instinct I've definitely picked up is that in women's clothes if you find something you love, but it now buy it now buy it now. It won't be there next month or possibly even next week. When I'm shopping with my wife, who tries to be frugal, this comes up from time to time. She'll hem and haw about buying something, and then I'll bring up that it won't be there next month. In guy's clothes, I can buy the same exact pants or shirt five years from now. Men's clothes are more like "supplies". Women's clothes are here today gone tomorrow.

I think that instinct comes from being connected to the womens fashion groove.
If I am shopping and find something I like, I will go back and get other colors.
Especially if I know the fit and feel of the garment. And I also know if you find something
that you like, You better buy it at the time. Because when you go back later it will be gone.

All tips and tricks that we as crossdressers are lucky enough to know. Most men who don't
crossdresser may not know this. So this is one of the advantages that you wife has being married to a crossdresser
If she wants multiple colors of a certain type of clothing you will certainly understand.

So true! My wife has a million pairs of shoes. My reaction: of course she does. She needs them! She has a closet full of clothes, but sometimes has nothing to wear. I understand completely! Time for a new outfit! The benefits of being married to a crossdresser!

When I'm dressed now I can quickly tell if the woman in my mirror matches the image I want!:straightface:

And, that sometimes has to do with having just the rite shade or style of accessories. But, not always.:heehee:

I suppose one reason I keep my wardrobe simple is that I am not particularly confident about styles and colors. So, I do not possess much in the way female instincts or experience.
