Little things again.

One of the joys of dressing is sharing with other people. I am lucky to have a few female friends that encourage my dressing. One such is my sister Maggie. She was at my house on Sunday and I was wearing my latest vintage gown copy. She asked if it needed hoop petticoats and I assured her it did. Next thing she was inspecting all my petticoat layers. To have a woman do this I could only dream about until now. For various reasons I collect her and leave her home afterwards. I do so fully dressed. This time I wore a pleated skirt over a waist slip with a roll neck jumper and 2 inch heels. I feel so comfortable driving like this and she lives 15 miles from me. It is a connection like this which makes me so happy with my dressing.

Great to have a sister like yours

Isn't it a great feeling? I have one GG friend who has given me two large bags of clothes of all sorts, many of which I wear regularly. Another GG friend gave me some hats appropriate for summer wear. Yet another GG friend gave me several purses she no longer wanted. I have gone thrift shopping with one of them, and we were able to admire and comment on each other's purchases.
