View Full Version : Sad from never having hips

I started with workouts again and I hope this time I'll keep it consistent. I do workouts according to YT videos Move with Nicole. She's incredibly feminine and does pilates and yoga, which is exactly what I want.
Today I worked out in my leggings with hip-pads on and as I saw and enjoyed the shape, I get a bit sad, that I will never have this shape by nature without altering my hormones, but as I'm CD and not TG, that is absolutely not an option. I don't mind boobs, wigs or facial hair, but I'd really love to have those hips. In drab I wear jeans, trousers or in summer knee-long baggy shorts and even such swimsuits, so it wouldn't be problem either. And as you saw on my pictures I have slightly Y shaped torso so with hips I could have very convincing body. But I can't get them.
Girls, who dress for years and went through these feelings, how did you deal with them? I know that I have to accept it, because that's just how nature is, but as my male-self is fighting depression, I don't want to add my issues to it.

I just accept it Marketa. I know my limitations. Enjoy the best of both worlds.

There is not much you can do to add hip volume naturally. Males are just not genetically built that way. Not sure what kind of pads you have, but look into investing in a pair of dresstech or boobsshop silicone hip pads-once they warm up to your body temp they feel like a part of you.

Marketa,
When you need them, when it's time to step out the door, when it matters, they're there to give you the shape you need albeit foam or silicone.
Just remember, there are GG's who also rely on the same padding we do. Learn to enjoy your change in shape, marvel at just what a transformation you can achieve. Look forward to putting them on and the pleasure that can bring you. As my old mum would say, no point wishing your life away.

As Helen said girls rely on them to. We all have different bodies men and women alike. So we work with what we have. Better small hips than other issues you could have to deal with. You are you, and you look great.

There are plenty of absolutely stunning women who have small hips. I understand the desire to have nice hips, but it's not something needed for a wonderful female form.

One of the insidious aspects of depression is its ability to find a negative in any situation. For example, if you are sure that hormones are not in your future, great, you have clarity. You have made a choice that works for you. There is no problem, no negative there…except in your mind.
I made a similar decision against HRT some years ago. I chose. And I compensate for the lack of breasts and hips with padding. I could let my own depressive nature bemoan the fact that I made a choice, but that is basically self flagellation.

For many years of CD outings, and for most of my years after I decided to fully transition, I relied on various types of hip pads to get 'that figure'. Some worked a lot better than others. Now, after top surgery, 6.5 years of HRT, lower surgery, and when I have my weight rather well in check, I measure 45" (38C) - 34" - 42". Hormones didn't affect my hips much, and I still have a pretty skinny butt. However, so do many cisgender ladies. And I look darned good in my bikini, if I do say so! About two years ago, when I started working full time in a public facing job as a woman, I just stopped bothering with the hip pads. And you know what? I pass just fine in public. Cisgender women usually assume from first encountering me that I am also cisgender, and that I have always been female. We commiserate freely about areas where we feel our figures could be improved. But almost without fail, none of them say anything to imply my skinny hips are out of normal expectations for a woman. Nor have any men commented negatively about my 'inverted triangle' figure. They just accept that some women are top heavy, and not all have an hourglass figure.
There are surgeries that can add more fatty tissue to the hips and butt. Some might be subtle enough to still pass as a normal male when in drab. But honestly? Just be yourself, and accept that women come in quite a wide range of shapes! You really don't need bigger hips to present well as a woman.

Any time I want to see myself as a very fem shaped, naked woman I simply pull on a full female silicone suit over my pads and there she is!:daydreaming:

Of course, that's not for everyone. I have met a few T's that have had hip and/or butt implants. They looked amazing!:battingeyelashes:

Likewise, I'm less bothered about boobs but would love hips or a proper bum.
Though as has been pointed out you can still look very feminine without them.
Would be nice to be able to fill out that dress/skirt/jeans though!

I began with all the padding at the suggestion of someone in our support group.
I would wear them all the time and got really comfortable adding the padding as part of my dressing routine. Then I just got tired of the process. I saw women, like swimmers, who didn't have that ideal hourglass figure. Their hips and behind were smaller since they did all that exercise and had less body fat. Gradually I just accepted that I have that kind of shape and stopped wearing them all the time. I still have them and wear the padding under clothes if it's a special occasion where I really want to look my best. Other than that I just accept myself as having this shape. Others can accept it also, or not, I don't care anymore.
Of course I'd love to have hips and a behind to properly fill out my clothes, but it's not a deal breaker anymore.

I am all for the silicone hip and butt pads, and I do tend to over indulge just a bit. They really make a difference in a nice pair of jeans. Good Luck and have fun.

All of you are right, girls and you said what I had to hear.
After reading your posts I realized I simply started overthinking it, probably because I started focusing on Nicole and her shape and how's the saying? Comparison is the thief of joy? And that's what was happening.
Thank you for bringing me back to earth. I keep enjoying CD and my shape and if I have to wear hip pads here and there? So what? The joy CD brings me is the important part and I probably started forgetting it. Thank you for reminding me. I'm so grateful I've got you in my life, even if just online.

I am not obsessed with the female form. Yes, it would be nice to have all those curves, but I see many women whose shapes are not hour-glass. I am dresses-only, so it's empire waist and sheath dresses for me. My figure is 42-38-40 which works fine without hip pads. My granddaughter, who is a beautiful young adult, has no hips and she buys her jeans in the youth men's section of the store and actively prowls the racks at her favorite thrift store for bargains.

I would love to have some natural hips. Nothing outrageous. My silicone pads add 1 3/4 inches to each side and that makes a world of difference. Most of us have wider shoulders, so some extra in the hip area would balance that out.

Marketa, I just got off of a 7 night cruise and during the day I was wearing a bikini at the pool deck. While there I people watched a bunch and what I noticed is that at least a third of the women who were wearing a bikini had no butt and no hips. We, and I , worry about it but the fact is there are a lot of women who don't have the perfect hourglass figure and they don't have any problem showing what they got. Good luck on your journey...

To those that wear no hip/butt pads: There r many flat chested women. So, why not leave out your forms, too?:heehee:
I know a few T's who don't wear forms!
