Yeah. Thats happened a few times to me.
Half the time with my wife with me.
She has asked me; -does that bother you?

I feel bad for the people afterwards, because they always feel so flustered & embarrassed.

The only time I was a little embarrassed, was the time I was at a casino with my mom sitting next to me at the bar, and the bartender said what can I get you ladies.
I guess It was the slightly bigger hoop earrings than -guy standard- and long hair with a freshly shaved face.
I felt bad for my mom because she has made the point to ask me not to have painted fingernails or wear my hair in pigtails in front of her. Im always much obliged to do that for her because she has always sacrificed so much for me growing up. No prob Mom.

My public presentation has been getting more and more androgynous of late. Every once in a while I get a reminder that people are not seeing me as the average old man.

In the last few years I?ve been ma?amed at Dunkin?s and the grocery deli. Also , on numerous occasions eating out , asked what will you ladies( with my wife) have? Sometimes I let it fly , with a smirk. Other times the male ego kicks in with an? excuse me??
I?m almost always dressed full male( except maybe Womens jeans, ? cause the fit and feel better.
